Thanks Shrek, it was just the jacket, 5mm pants. Some guys were in full 8.5mm with a vest. The water is 12-13°C on the bottom. Also no current & no swell means you’re basically laying perfectly still on the surface breathing up. Easy to get cold!

That’s the surface temp. Drops to about 12-13 below the thermocline. Sitting on the surface breathing up with no current to fight or swell you can get very relaxed and then also cold. Dario was in an 8.5mm jacket, 2mm undervest and 6.5mm pants!
