171 has a large city inspired by essentially Brazilian scenarios, every detail and element present in the game environment was designed to bring a sense of familiarity to the player, the city comes to life with pedestrians and cars walking around the map that interact with each other and with the map. The player has weapons and can interact with the elements present in the city, but be careful, because every action can create a reaction in the same intensity, acting in an aggressive way can draw attention, causing the innocent to keep their distance and bringing problems not only with the police, but also with local bandits.
This is an early access Alpha version, the current content may contain bugs, the mechanics present in the game may be subject to instabilities or be temporarily disabled to receive the necessary polishing, the current content does not represent the final quality of the game and the same must be modified and/or enabled in later versions.

@SV you know i really like ragdolls in video games, when they fall, when they get thrown by the shotgun, it's fun for me, max payne 3, rdr2, gta iv, rdr1 is the best in ragdoll things reason, even gta v was downgraded to euphoria but its ragdoll is still very good. also in games like rage2, doom, fear, dying light there is a good ragdoll without euphoria. but ubipop, the witcher 3, cp2077 has the most trashy ragdoll of all the games i've played, it's even far behind haft life 2 haha. physical garbage.

I played a solid 30 minutes of the game. It’s brilliant for an early access game, having it work with minor hiccups is better than 90% of what AAA games push out. I’ve never been to Brazil but this captures it quite well in my uneducated opinion. Most civilians are wearing flip flops, tanks, and cargo shorts what I assume is what the normal attire is for being a country on/close to the equator. The lack of street signs, lamps, and lights makes it give you the Rural danger feeling, the feeling of if anything were to happen, NOBODY would care. Streets being 65% dirt and the other 35% being paved. Being able to greet and or threaten people is fantastic. Physics is good and gives me some GTA 4 physics, but dialed back. Over all, for being made by a group of 8-12 people with no serious source of funding AND it’s first week of early access I’d give it a strong 8/10. They have much to improve on and develop but this is a fantastic foundation to develop on. I can really see this being a great RP game with a stellar single player campaign. I am super excited for the updates in the future to come. Great job from the states, we want MORE!!

As a brazilian, i feel hear warmed to see that 171 is getting supported for many people outside of Brazil, being a dev here is sicj a hard task, not only we lack the funds, but we lack people and availability to work on such a project, many of us has at least 1 main job to get by, some even need 2 jobs, but it's these moments that make it worth the fight! i hope that with the funds Beta Games Group receives from this Public Alpha, helps the development process much furtherand honestly, it can be such a good open world brazilian game that we brazilians always dreamed about, we used to mod gta san andreas to make it look like it was set Brazil and now we finaly have a real game, that alone to me is like a dream come true.

This was the Closest to Real Life Graphics i Ever Saw. Also the Map Looks like a Real Life Map too. The houses are Enterable too. Just need NPC's inside it. @@gabito.01 muito, mas especialmente os bairros da divisa com Hortolandia, que não tem asfalto e tem muita boca de fumo. Inclusive a igreja e o mercado que aparece no game lembra os que tem nessa localidade. Mas o centro de Sumaré é bem desenvolvido, com condomínio de luxo nas proximidades. Agora quanto à violência, hj em dia tá de boa, mas nos anos 90 chegou a ser uma das cidades mais violentas do estado de São Paulo

As a brazilian I would like to clarify a few things about this game, first of all, is that although the map is set in a favela, Brazil is not like this, the game map is small, being a parody of a neighborhood in Brazil, and secondly that unfortunately in Brazil, the games industry doesn't have as much investment and resources as in the U.S., so it's hard to make a game very complex as GTA, but we are very proud of what was possible so far, the game will get better with time, I hope you can have some fun with it.

it is nice to see this game in videos like this, posted by worldwide content creators. the game is on early access, so it doesn't have a story mode and don't have much things to do, but it is definitely something, since it came from an indie studio in Brazil (we don't have many here and there is no much investment on the game development area), so thank you for promoting the game and supporting the developers by that. I believe they can do a lot of this game, and that it will be a great sandbox with a great story, just like the GTA games (not exactly, of course), but in the brazilian environment. thank you for the support! :)

If this game has many interiors, clothing, different places to visit, the ability to run a criminal organization etc then it could compare if not exceed GTA V. But the fact that GTA V is a decade old but is still used as a benchmark speaks for itself.

I wonder if the map was a copycat of a Real Life Place in Brazil. Also,the Graphics for me was better than GTA V Modded. that is Graphics Modded into GTA VI. Sorry for my Bad English. Not My Language.

It actually is, the game's city is called Sumariti and it's based on the real city Sumaré, inside the state of São Paulo

the game is being developed by only 7 person, GTA 5 for 5000 ? the GTA 5 It had a budget of 1 billion dollars, this game must have a budget of 400 thousand reais so it's good for the difference in price and employees. And it's still a test version just to show how it's turning out kkkk we look at GTA 6 it's taking a long time to come out.
