Honestly, I think everyone is missing the point. FiveM is cool but it's niche. Most GTA Online players don't even know it exists. Rockstar didn't buy it so that they could have control over FiveM, they bought it so that they could bring SixM to the masses. Yes, SixM. I'm convinced they're going to implement it into GTA VI and if they do, it could go from being one of the biggest games of all time to THE biggest game of all time. Look how lucrative and popular GTA V Online is. We'd expect the GTA VI iteration to get just as much attention. Now imagine they also implement RP servers for console players. That's got the potential to be absolutely huge. Sure, a console version is going to be moderated and sanitised and limited by what Rockstar chooses to include but if you're a PC player you were going to have to wait anyway because Rockstar have a stick up their asses about PC releases and I get that when the PC version does come, Rockstar might set limits people don't like (and unofficial RP servers might not be allowed) so I understand people's trepidation. But I get Rockstar's point of view and why they bought FiveM rather than just issuing cease and desists. They smell money. They think GTA VI RP could be huge.

Through the years R* became the shadow of itself being eaten by T2's greed. FiveM has zero power over R*, and R* is equally controlled by T2. We have seen R* publishing one of the worst multiplayer online with RDR2 while they had the perfect game to make it an insane roleplay plateform, and they knew how strong FiveM was fueling GTA V life span. They didn't do shaite because role play isn't in their gaming culture, and for what we can see they have learned nothing about it : if FiveM's integration into GTA VI is that confused I tend to think it is because R* manages so poorly they push their own confusion about roleplay to FM's team. Since R* bought FiveM I feel they will brake it just as T2 broke the usual single player DLCs GTA used to have.

GTA-V online is Toxic enough for players, can imagine how bad working for Rx is, most likely 10x, GD Corpo's !

It wont be used in game in real time Anytime soon. Generating images takes a ton load of graphics processing. If games started implementing this, it would be impossible to run the game in most machines and consoles in regular fps. This is not happening.

Personally I can understand GSGs frustration. It feels pretty petty of rockstar to remove their name from the splash screen even if they didn't do a good job (small team, tight deadlines, feels like a recipe for disaster). It's been up for this long. It feels a bit random to suddenly remove it after several years. Not to mention rockstar is the ones who kept rehiring them. Like some blame has to fall with rockstar for not looking at what GSG was capable off and properly considering if a team of there size was up for remastering 3 legendary ps2 games within 2 years, during a pandemic

Thank god, I’m glad they fixed some major details for San Andreas I completed the definitive edition over the summer but it didn’t give me the feeling of the original because of its atmosphere but now, I really want to replay the story and see if I can really get that feeling this time!

I didn't even grow up playing San Andreas, but I'm playing it now (on OG Xbox, and I haven't finished it yet so pls no spoilers), and I so fucking badly just want Rockstar to remake San Andreas in the GTA V engine. Nothing against the original game as I am thoroughly enjoying it but - God dammit it just feels too right. Even if certain events or locations have to be tweaked to fit in with modern Los Santos - I do not care. It just feels like an overly stupid idea for them to NOT do it at some point. They remade Los Santos and even fucking included Grove Street in it. The game is practically BEGGING to be remade!
