Harley guy here. Nice of you to not worry about walking over there and talking to them. It’s a shame there seems to be so much animosity between the Harley guys and sport bike riders.

I started riding two years ago. I’m 52. I bought a Harley Electra Glide not because I was looking for a Harley,but because I liked how it looked and the price was right. Since I’ve been riding I’ve learned a lot,and the one thing I don’t understand or get,is the whole sport bike/Harley “rivalry” crap…at my age it’s just silly. I love and respect all riders out on the street,I wave to EVERYONE….even people riding bicycles! I’m just happy to be out there and I am REALLY glad I found my love for riding at this age,because I don’t think I would’ve lived this long as crazy and reckless as I was in my younger years. Anyways, I find everyone in the motorcycle community to be some of the nicest people…nerdy even. And yes,there are some aholes out there that take it to a different level,I just steer clear of them. I’m a lone rider and prefer it that way. Hope and pray that you all stay safe out there

Good video man, I think you’re a Harley rider and don’t know it yet.Lol😂If you tried a Harley or a cruiser style bike I think you would love it. I think you ride a sport bike because most young people do.

I'm still trying to get over the shock of paying $2 for air! Never ever seen that in my country. As Harley riding pres of a club, I'd always talk to younger japbike riders - it's where the new members come from. Our current pres was a Kawasaki rider when I first shook hands 30 years ago! Hello from Australia 🇦🇺 🙋♂️

I don't know your age, but every Harley rider (like me) started out as a young guy on a small bike, mostly dirt track, sports bike or naked bike. That's why we usually like young riders. When I meet a 16 to 20 year old on a bike I do remember the old times, 40 years ago. Greetings from Germany 👍

It tends to be the younger kids on them honestly. I have a sports bike and a Harley but I'm pushing 50. I've got nothing to prove and ride at my own pace. Cops like to pull us over as it is. No need for extra attention.

@jayridesmoto nah, I've got a Harley Road king. I'd probably kill myself on a sport bike, so i went with a cruiser. Plus at 6'2" a harley fits me better than a sport bike lol. I'll reach out to you if I ever make it back to that area though!

Im 49 years old and I started riding back in 92 93 my first bike was a 82 xs 650 Yamaha kind of like a triumph regular looking bike but then at the end of my 10th grade year a buddy sold me his 87 FZR 1000 and I had it 3 months and some dip shit did a left in front of me so I was down for a few years and then I met a guy who had a 89 ZX 10 that he went down on due to a lady ran him off the road so I got it fixed it up and like a jack @#$ sold it so I should get another FZR the ZX was big and at the time I wanted something that I could hang corners better on I get way but for the price I sold the ZX I should have kept it and had two bikes but I ended up with a 90 FZR 1000 a great bike that is in pieces in my shad today I had a lot of work done to it 1070 kit etc etc and I just can't let miss nasty go one day I'd like to do more work to the FZR and get it on the road again it's a long story as to why it's in pieces I'll just say do not have major motor work done then decide to polish your frame and not cover your carburetor all that shit will go down into your motor when you start the bike and its like sand paper inside of an engine just sad but one day now I had other bikes like a 88 FZR 1000 that I got when I worked at the Yamaha shop after going to AMI in Daytona class of 01 poor AMI is gone now was sold my the owner son back in 2010 when the owner pass away but I worked at the shop doing fright and prep and this FZR was there so I bought it fix it up and rode it for 5 months the 87 88 FZR just doesn't have the punch the 89 and newer motor has so I sold it and can't say I should have kept it but I didnt get the money I was asking and it pisses me a bite I put some work into that bike I did a rear end swop on it from a yzf 600r so it would have17 front and rear swingarm and all got swoped so Ive been bike less for years now I went and got a 97 yzf 750 in 2018 because for the love of FZR 1000 you can take the 750 motor out and swop in with a prayer and a shoe horn and FZR 1000 motor into the 750 frame so I wanted to do all the motor work to the other 1000 motor I have and do that swop but now that I typed my whole life story I think people like Harley Davidson is because you can have an old ass HD or a newer one and you can find parts and someone to work on it and there is my problem I have all this bikes I love and it's getting harder to find the engine gasket kits for putting them back together and even harder to find someone to take you serous that will love them and work on them and not think there old junk it's sad you can't find the old 90s sport bikes they get treated like a hooker and thrown into the junk yard and look at some of the new bikes there sport bikes but they got 2 f#$%ing cylinders and can't hit 150mph I swear to the lord above that the jap big 4 and the government has gotten together and is making sport bikes with little balls so the cops can have a chance at catching them I know sounds crazy but say my 97 yzf 750 was running compare it to the new R7 sure my old bitch is bigger but I have 4 cylinders and it will hit 165 mph but the old bikes are gone in the junk yard it's just sad as hell if you do want a bike that is big and has 4 cylinders your going to pay $$$$$$was looking at a 2024 used ZX 14 its the only new bike Id like to own but 16k and after all the bs you know it 20k for that money I can fix my old bikes but that why people like Harley you can get parts and someone will work on them I think the company is suck in the 50s 60s it's a damn shame how Buell was treated he just want Harley to have a sport bike line the 1200 Buell's of the 90s and early 2000s where cool I'd love to have a fire bolt but thanks for listen to my life story one day I'll get a bike going a list of all the bikes 90 fzr 1000 97 yzf 750 97 pc800 68 700 Royel Enfield my dad passed in 2015 and left me the pc and the Enfield

Nobody cares about the bike you ride at all, We all started on different brands and types of motorcycles. I currently own a 2004 Honda XR250r a 1986 Harley FXST and a 2017 Harley Ultra Limited. I also drive around on my land a 2019 Kawasaki 4010 Mule. Harley riders do seem to break there backs to help you more often than anybody else, I think its because we are mostly Blue collar guys that work on our own stuff.

@johnrhodes101875Күн бұрын
you just can't worry about what people think if there cool with you then who cares what you ride now they just want a nice ride not some ass hole doing ass hole sport bike things then you can go far away from them and I learn no matter what group watch were other riders are it's so easy to move over or cut off another ride and there's nothing more uncovertebral then getting there getting off the bike and someone coming up to you and saying hey you cut me off ,I've had it happen a few times even one of my riding buddy's from my town one night come up to me miss those days we would all meet up in our small town (plant city)and go ride to the big city were everyone comes to on Saturday night then we all would go out and hang out at a back road and drag race it was wild there be a crap ton of bikes from all around meet up at one spot in the city (Tampa)then all ride to the back road and we all be parked up on both sides of the road I think those times are gone that was back in 93 now as for riding in a group the best thing is to stay in the back of the group you're in no one's way and you can see what everyone is doing that's where I like to be

Harley Davidson the biggest pile of crap money can buy, I own a 1986 Honda gold wing with 39,000 original miles and she still going strong 38 years later, I bought the bike from the second owner,he had it for a month he bought it from the original owner who lived in Arizona. It came with an Arizona title, the original owner put 28,000 miles on it and let it sit for 32 years, when I got it, the only thing I had to do was buy and install a brand new carb rebuild kit,new floats,jets,slides. New timing belts and hoses. Changed oil after that replaced tires that was it, bike runs as good the day it rolled off the Honda assembly line. I will never buy a Harley Davidson again. I used to own one, at first I liked it,but after awhile the bike was breaking down all the time, I sold it,bought a gold wing, best $1,000 ever spent hands down. I would like to own the brand new gold wing, I did hours of research into the Honda gold wing, it's the longest lasting motorcycle in the world, those bikes are capable of going as far as 1,000,000 miles as long as you don't skip fluid changes and don't race the piss out of it.
