they could have clarified better how it uses autogyro technology where the helicopter style blades are unpowered but provide lift by a side effect of the thrust from a rear aimed engine pushing the vehicle forward at a tilt.

The main problem I see with this design is that if you're stuck in traffic there wouldn't be a way to get enough of a starting run to take off anyway. The only way I could see actual flying cars in traffic is if they were capable of a vertical take off. But then again, I have no real qualifications, so take my opinion with a grain of salt.

I like what he said about the inventions and ideas being needed to be seen almost like a art gallery. I often times ask why some art is invested so much upon, while inventions and projects fall short due to funding. I know everything is reliant on supply and demand but it is truly surprising what one person could do by them self's. Now imagine what they could do with the funding.
