Sethos is a Sumeru lore bomb and his miscellany shows it There is so much there that I think you will only understand everything that was said when you finish Sumeru and read some character stories in addition to exploring the desert in world quest, of course

Fun fact: Sethos's Dusk Bolt he fires in his burst, are the same which Cyno fires when he perfectly times his skill with the "eye" during his own burst. Interesting to thing about considering their relationship.

Sethos is the perfect example of a deep character that has big lore implications that we most likely will never know how important they are until near the end of the game 3 years at least until we really get what his secrets are like other certain character that just got really important recently, but they released in the beginning of the game which is cool, but I feel a lot of characters they were released ahead of their time that when they become relevant our hype for them has long gone

Honestly Sethos easily has become my favorite 4 star. Maybe I'm biased towards bow users and sumeru characters but he really just does feel like he's the first 'true' bow user that doesn't use some other gimmicks to deal damage, just his bow and straight piercing arrows, first time actually taking advantage of both normal and charged attacks without having to sacrifice either for different builds and both are great. He's just so fun and unique. I also love how he basically brings a new energy consumption niche, finally adding more reasons to use some underutilized characters like Dori who specifically recharge energy well and heal. Overall I love his kind of 'cocky' or confident personality and voicelines and his lore is interesting as well as his design is peak. Super glad I got him, definitely could've easily been a 5 star.

Sethos is fantastic. He's my current main. He's tricky to get a hang of using initially, but once you do, he's really fun. His design is one of my favourites in the game. Though I do think they went a _little_ overboard with the hourglass motifs. I can't wait to unlock his character stories and voicelines, 'cause there's bound to be some really interesting stuff there.

Yeah I've been working on drawing him and the amount of hourglasses/triangle's I've had to draw has been in the dozens xD Though at least it's interesting!

I got him while pulling for Clorinde. At first I wasn't attracted to use him, but after a while he's fun to play. The best part is that it wasn't hard to get some artifacts for him since I've been fighting bosses these past months (there's an artifact set that increases elemental mastery AND increases bow charged attack damage that appears after defeating bosses)

i don't know how much of a lore player are you. but as other commenters said, sethos is a huge lore bomb package. that name dainsleif mention: Al-Ahmar is the one that tied sethos to cyno and the rest of sumeru. once you're in Sumeru and do world quests, keep an eye out for that name. Al-Ahmar or King Deshret or Lord of the Gilded Sand.

Hearing what Dain said about Sethos, I heard one name, Apep, that’s the Dendro Dragon, each element has a dragon, Dvalin, Apep, etc. and they predate the Archons apparently. I got Sethos pulling for Clorinde but I haven’t built him but I do know someone who did, Murder of Birds
