Nemu Kurotsuchi (12 Division Lieutenant) wasn’t trying to save Uryu, she was trying to restrain him on Mayuri’s order’s, but let go due to fear for her own safety! :l

[Tidbits & Clarifications] - Mayuri's introduction does much to further express how gray the Soul Society is as an Organization. With him it seems that they allow him to do as he pleases as long as it's for the betterment of the Gotei 13. Morally Mayuri is a monser, but logically his actions make complete sense. - Mayuri is yet isn't responsible for the Grandfathers death, He intentionally held shinigami from coming on time, so he certainly has a large part in it, you could also but some blame of those who allow him to keep his position despite his character.

Mayuri is necessary. Nobody in the Soul Society has truly felt villainous, even Gin isnt doing heinous things. Plus its almost mandatory for Frieza's VA to voice evil people.

i don't think so, the only surprise is the antique technique Ishida uses instead of the "spoiler newer way", he had massive info on quincies and he had the slime bullshit as backup in case of a fatal blow. There was that one surprise tho so i guess you are technically right.

@@Myhaay He has basic info but he didn‘t come prepare to fight a Quincy, and he has no data on Letzt Stil form. Mayuri only get info on the Quincies been left in the world of the living and majority of them are weak

So much censorship in this couple of episodes (Source: Bleach Wiki): «The four 12th Divison members being killed by the bombs set by Mayuri is drastically toned down in the anime. In the manga, after the first explosion, organs can be seen flying through the air, splattering blood on the remaining three squad members. The body of the squad member expressing confusion to Mayuri was shown imploding before him and the other two 12th Divison members are engulfed in the second explosion. In the anime, the organs weren't shown, and the confused squad member's body didn't implode and was simply engulfed by the second explosion.» «When Mayuri uses his Jabarakaina, blood is shown coming from his arm. In the anime however, the blood isn't visible.» «The process at which Mayuri's Hojiku-Zai restores his arm in the anime differs from the manga. In the manga, his arm goes through a reformation process. In the anime however, Mayuri's arm simply grows back, glowing with Reiryoku.» «Mayuri stabbing Uryū with Ashisogi Jizō is toned down in the anime.
