I wish there was less focus on the need to be a multimillionaire, and more emphasis on the environmental impact, like the eradication of plastic waste on our roads and in our waterways and gutters, and the building of affordable housing for low-income earners (individuals or families). People and corporate entities would be more interested to partner with him if they see a genuine passion for social change as opposed to the drive to make money. I know it's a good cause but you, Lucky Udu, as the content creator, should have helped him sell his vision not just use him as another KZbin content.

I dislike people like you who conclude. You have no idea what goes on behind the scenes. If you know the effort I make for these people behind the scenes, you'll take your words back and bury your head in shame. Imagine spending 400,000 to travel across states to film someone who may never be discovered, I post on KZbin and make like $2 dollar, which is not up to 1000naira in Nigerian currency. I opened a Facebook page for him and helped him get 10,000 followers in less than one week. Spoke to investors about him and even spoke to the presidency through my office as Director of Youth. I also help him raise some money by including his own bank details and phone number in the video on Facebook. Whatever we didn't talk about in the interview, I told him to say them all on his new platform. Every video i create has a subject matter, while there's environmental impact to discuss about, there is also the economical and innovative topic as well. I'm sorry if I didn't discuss the environmental impact, I'll take discussions like this seriously in my forthcoming videos.

"corporate entities would be more interested to partner with him if they see a genuine passion for social change as opposed to the drive to make money" -- This makes very little sense since corporate entities exist to make money. They would be more interested in his ability to generate income and then all the other stuff you listed are bonuses. What is wrong with wanting to make money. More money equals more impact. Money is the measurement of success. The more money he makes the more impact he has on the environment and people in his community. Since he would have to hire people as he grows. So money and the impact this has have direct correlation with each other. The more money the more impact. The more impact the more money.

It can also be Pelletized after the melting process and exported to other countries for manufacturing. Creating an international trade, considering the amount of waste in the country this will be a very lucrative business for one to get into. It will also kill the need to rely on cement as the source of building in the country. Making the prices of cement more affordable as there will be a shift in demand.

Not to be negative, but let's be realist... 1- There are many companies out there already who use plastic for building materials. 2- There are many types of plastic. Only a few are practical for building. 3- Burning the plastic can be as poluting or more than doing nothing at all. 4 - Plastic bricks are more expensive than clay bricks. 5 - In the case of a fire, a building or house made of plastic will melt and be very hard to put out. 6 - Recycling is not a very profitable business.

So the poor guy melts plastic bottles - the type of plastic which can be readily recycled, which all recycling facilities accept (and even pay money for it)? Why doesn't he melt the type of plastic waste which no any company is able to recycle in Africa? There are mountains of plastic waste which cannot be recycled (brocken bags, packaging etc.), but which is at the same time excellent for making bricks!
@adikwualechenu969810 ай бұрын
And what are you doing besides being critical of someone doing something? Talking like the streets of Nigeria isn't littered with excess plastic bottle waste in spite of your so called recyclers.
@saibabagarden10 ай бұрын
@@adikwualechenu9698 Oh, really? Sorry, didn't know you have even bottles everywhere. I lived in poor countries in Asia only (still haven't been to Africa). Here we have many recyclers for bottles. They do pay money, so bottles are harder to find comparing to other types of plastic trash which nobody accepts. As for my work, I did and do many things (including trash removal; I even collected plastic, including old fishing nets, from coral reef itself).. But my answer becomes too long, you perhaps tired reading it already. Once again, sorry you have too much trash in Africa. Good people like you do great job by cleaning at least those bottles!! Cheers.
