Good morning Richard, great deal on your P/U Truck. You did a great job getting so many miles out of the breaks and an excellent job getting that kind of mileage out of the tires. It's great that you and Jimmie are able to trade work back and forth like that. You all stay safe and keep up the great videos and the fun you share with us. Fred and family.

That just shows what EMT training does for you, doesn’t it? I can’t believe other drivers have so much trouble looking as far ahead as I do, I rarely use my brakes, I try not to accelerate or brake hard as I hate paying out for consumables that I can make last much longer, just with a little forethought. Keep up the good work, I love your channel and feel were of a similar mindset. Good luck with all your upcoming projects, I can’t wait to see how you do things coming up!

Hello Richard. Just a thought, maybe it would be a good idea to buy a portable battery jump box to take with you living where you do. Nice to have if you're out in the middle of nowhere and your battery decides to take a nap. I bought one from Harbor Freight a couple years ago and it works great. Just looking out for you buddy.

always keep a fire extinguisher in your vehicle. If it goes so far a tire catches on fire, you may not be able to put it out.

Adding lighting outdoors is something I have done to my well house. I used 48w led automotive flood lights that have a day/night sensor wired in addition to the lights so that they turn themselves on/off and only use about half an amp each. Lights up my driveway and gate. Something like that might work for you as well. These can be ordered from Amazon in bulk and are (to me) well worth the price.

As long as they can charge themselves I’m good to check them out. Solar and led have come a long way

I sorry they don’t charge themselves but they do run off your battery. So your solar system should charge itself and provide enough power

Great. I also assume you drive differently compared to others. Taking car of a vehicle can surely increase the life tremendously.

yes every time i do brakes i buy all new parts and the mechanic s love me even brake shoe lubes and extra fluid with flexible connections best policy and the lifetime warranty is tucked away in an envelope so if they fail replacements are free! I will not live long enough for a new set since retirement oil changes are once per year! Less travel less gas and well retirement has its perks

Richard, Paul here can change parts yet I am not a mechanic. I have some mechanical experience now on small engines. I can make the parts for the engines and autos and trucks. Ha Ha Ha. The brakes lock up on me too. Every year the brake fluid needs to be drained out and replaced. Are we going to get to work on the camping ground soon or did one's daughter get that land for her house? I like the doggies both of them and will pet them when I am around too. I will play ball with them if they want to too. Paul in OHio Forgot to mention about my solar lights on the front of the house. I really like them. They come on all by themselves then go off. I have a few sets of these on the house.

Fantastic. Solar is nice. I still have a workshop to finish, back porch, root cellar and tear down old sawmill to clean up the top of the hill before we start a camp site

There is a story about a poor man who could only come up with enough money to by $10 boots, but he had to replace them every year. A man of better means bought $50 boots which lasted him 10 years. So the poor man spent a lot more on boots. The most expensive items are not usually the best, as they are typically about fashion and exclusivity. But the cheapest items are seldom the best either. Listening to what works for others, as you did, and looking at tests, such as Project Farm does, go a long way to helping us get the best bang for our buck.

Not really. I can put it together but have no idea about how it works. I know this does that and this goes here but don’t understand how they work and, lol, don’t want to know. I would rather whittle wood, ha ha
