Me too - Curly head Nana with 2 sons. One very wavy, One with full curls. Wavy has a 2 year old son - full head of blond curls - he looks like a cherub. This lad has ridiculously nice hair. So thick. Thanks for cutting Rishi's hair for us. I had long pony tail hair for most of my life until I had major surgery and it all fell out over the period of about 6 months, and grew back. What came back is gently curly, a bit like Rishi's, about the same length as his original. It almost never has knots in it, but thinning on the crown a tiny bit. Even though you are a barber channel not a women's hair channel, you've helped me with what to do with mine.

Watch some channels specifically for curly hair. And yes, most of them are mostly women. That doesn't matter-you're looking for how to learn to handle curly hair. It's all in the products you put on it and what NOT to do-like do not brush or comb curly hair after it is dry. Type in "curly hair techniques" or "curly hair, how to take care". Watch them to learn what to do when you wash it. Life changing man.

Growing up during my teens in Northern part of India during the 90s, I was frequently mocked for my curly hair that was the same texture as Rishi. Some would call it a bird's nest. While curly hair was considered great for women even then it was not the case for men. So I would get a crew cut every two months and slowly forgot I had curly hair. Unfortunately it damaged my hair and scalp. Now I have some hair thinning but I still have 90% of hair. It's nice to see kids don't have to feel embarrassed about their curly/wavy hairs anymore. Or may be it's just getting accepted by the cosmopolitans. Anyways, the diversity of flowers, makes the garden more interesting.

Dude has an incredibly thick curly hair. Its kinda amazing. To all men with curly, wavy hair the styling is all about embracing the curls and its natural texture. Use the hair to complement your face. Wavy hair/ Curly hair can give a sophistaced look, a rebel like look or rugged liked appearence. It can hide big foreheads and big ears and if left with a beard can look more masculine. People tend to see people with wavy hair more ambitious, risk takers and intelectuals. So play with what suits to your personality. The hair care is about retaining moisture because it can dry relatively fast and that can make the hair look dry and at times frizzy. So use a good moisturizing shampoo and conditioner if its dry.If your hair looks greasy instead of dry use clarifying shampoo and do not use heavy oils. Use conditioner frequently (I use it everyday and on the 3rd day shampoo). My hair gets extremely frizzy and dry so i use a hair mask once a week and a curling cream or light hydrating mist at nights so that it doesnt dry too much. to tame the flyaways I use Argan oil, or the curling creme and then I use the forte series styling cream to just seal it. I can still pass my hands through the hair throughout the day to style it because it has a light hold. People with wavy/curly hairstyles include: Timothy Chalamet (he has thick hair), the Anakin Skywalker (has fine , curly hair), Tom Hollland who was like an in between hairstyle, and Shawn Mendez. Older gents include Mathew Mcconaughey, and Oscar Issac. Good shampoo and conditioners are: Forte Series, Everyday Strands, Bumble and Bumble. Good Oils are Argan Oil, Shea Butter, Coconut Oil, and jojoba Oil. I use Argan oil from forte series and Hydrating Mist from OGX. Jessie barbershop is a great channel that helps people with wavy and curly hair learn how to style it, and Travis White also talks about hair and how to find your type of hair.
