@Davud, I would like to do few translations here which I reckon you would glad to know. : When you try to buy fish for the lady, she says " 500g is enough" and then you suggest to get more as she has a refrigerator. Then she tells to the fisherman " How can I take him that much even if he offers, it is not nice ". Then the fisherman says " he wants to give it to you - so you should take ". She was trying to save you money. Then her husbands hand gesture once you offered them money , remember. ? I think you took it wrong as if he is asking money. He was not. His hand gesture was, " come and eat something with us, and he signals that to his wife also to feed you with something" . That hand gesture is for food not money. I thought you misunderstood him there. Just FYI. ( appreciate our kindness and I enjoy my country through your video's. )

We Sri Lankans are generally very hospitable and very friendly. That's a big plus for tourism. Generally the visitors are very safe compared to some other destinations. I am very optimistic that if the government do proper marketing our country can be like Malaysia Thailand and Singapore attracting 10 to 15 million tourists. May God bless you and others.

the biggest problem for tourism in sri lanka is its not connected to anyother country by land , everyone should use aeroplane or something to come and its costy,look sri lanka just has 2M annual tourists while cambodia has 6M , and over 50% tourist arrivals to cambodia are its neighbours , cuz its connected by land and easily shift to other country by just a normal road,... and nearly 66% of sri lankan tourists are europeans, and others are high spending chinese , that clearly shows just relatively rich people come to sri lanka , Ive known sooo many indian tourists who wanna visit lanka but the problem is they dont have much money to pay for flights, if they had a bridge connecting both countries it will drag over 5M indian tourists alone annually ,

If I tell something about Rupika, even though she is sunk in the depth of poverty she is not trying to cunningly grab money from Davud, at a time the fishmonger asks her to buy more fish since Daud is paying. But she kindly refuses it saying her conscience is not allowing her to do so.
