Took my lad when was 6 to his first game, he is 40 next year and we have had season tickets every season since he first went, there is nothing better than real father son time.

My dad, 91 years old and still going strong, first took me in 1967. Used to stand me in front of him on a home made wooden box so I could lean on the barrier in the Kop. Happy days!

Great vid - refreshingly different from the 'usual' fare. It's also genuinely heartwarming in this day and age to see the young kids get 'the bug' - takes me back to the early 70's with me and my mum. KRO

Great video! Brilliant to see Ted enjoy it. My lad is 18 months old, so in 4-5 years time there'll be another Bluenose down there... or in the new stadium 👀

I was born a bluenose. I remember Ian Anderside's testimonial where me, my dad, and my grandad were all in the kop. 3 generations all together. Unfortunately, I haven't got kids, but I do get to take my wonderful god daughter to the games. It's something I cherish and makes me proud. It's my hope that when she is older, she will remember these good times, and the cycle continues. Being a fan can mean so much more than most people think. Thank you to the new owners for making me proud again. It means the world. 💙

Many of us would describe ourselves as born to be Birmingham city fans (or bluenoses as we like to say) who have inherited our love of the club from our mothers and fathers. To be honest, we’ve lived in the shadow of our local rivals the Villa for most of our history. Consequently, unless you’re born into a blues family, the chances are you will end up supporting the Villa (especially if you live in the north of Birmingham like I do) . My Dad was a bluenose and I followed the blues as a result. No matter how much teasing and ridicule I received from my Villa friends when I was a kid, I never wavered from my love of the blues and the connection I had with my father as a result. Sadly he passed away in 2016 but not before he got to see my wife and I have a son together. Eight years on and I am immensely proud to say that my son is also a Birmingham City fan who comes to every home game with me as a season ticket holder. The memories we are making together following the blues are priceless and that for me is what supporting the blues is all about. KRO💙
