That’s some bull right there that off duty driver was just trying to make home to his family and because of that drivers disregard for safety someone else’s family paid the price while he essentially walked away with a slap on the wrist one of the harsh realities for us drivers out here on the road is there we are all one bad decision away from our lives changing forever and the scary fact of it is it doesn’t have to be your bad decision

I’ll bite. First off, the second you find the need to colorfully let the viewers know that it was an ‘illegal’ that was at fault.. you made it political. And it’s sad… so right off the bat, we knew where you were going with this clip. And sadly, it makes it seem like this was made in bad taste. Secondly, I don’t care if he’s an illegal or not.. charges being reduced down to misdemeanors is a travesty. I understand it was an accident, but actions have consequences. And if you thought getting behind a rig with no proper training was a good idea, then you’ve gotta deal with the blow back. Next.. for those that (correctly) feel like this is a travesty, and feel the need to blame the (literal) president.. you need to blame local Colorado government officials. It just shows how poisoned your mind is. Lastly.. the owner of that company should be held fully liable as well. Because I’ve got the feeling he’s been getting work done for him on the cheap, since the driver wasn’t able to show him a valid CDL.

I agree with nearly everything you said, we are on the same page..... except for........ I do partially blame Joe for rejecting the stay in Mexico deal, on day one of his presidency. I also dont understand how Colorado officials could be at fault, in any way shape or form?????? They have deported him 16 times and never qualified him to be behind the wheel at all.......... What we do agree on is his employer took advantage of an entirely different culture of people, this employer preyed on his economic situation and benefitted from cheap labor at the expense of public saftey...... We need to Build the wall, revoke any documents given in the last 5yrs and force any unvetted migrants to go back home. Can we agree that??Can we agree that driving truck is not low skilled labor? Can we agree that it takes highly skilled persons to operate heavy trucks around the public? Highly skilled and highly payed to ensure your family stays safe??

Sure, you can blame Joe for the remain in Mexico deal, but it wouldn't be fair to do so, if you're not willing to hold the other side of the aisle accountable for pulling out of that border deal last month, at the 11th hour. (We all know why, but that's for another conversation) I think Colorado officials could've red flagged him. Obviously they didn't. I'm not sure how or why. 16 times!?!?! I also disagree with 'building a wall' .. you've gotta think bigger and smarter. Why don't we hold BOTH sides of the aisle accountable for more than 40 years of lazy legislating? Do you know that the average wait time for citizenship in other developed countries is just over 6 months, and the average wait for citizenship to the US is over 6 YEARS? How does that make sense? BOTH SIDES have let down immigrants that are trying to better their lives. This should have been handled DECADES ago. But it hasn't. Why? Because when a democrat is in the white house, the repubs use it against them. And when a Republican in in the white house, the dems use it against them. I wish it were as easy as snapping our fingers to fix things.. but too many agendas and too much money is at stake in politics. It's disgusting. As for driving a truck being skilled labor.. of course. Anyone who says differently is as uneducated as they come. I just can't get over 2 misdemeanors. Wow. Is this guy some type of government informant? Who gets that many chances? And who skates away with a misdemeanor in a situation like that?
