You would either: (1) Be in an alternate timeline where you never existed therefore no one knows you existed. (2) Not be able to kill your actual grandfather scince time is set in stone that you would be born because time would just loop back around itself. I have made a few stories revolving around this topic. You don't need to be super smart to know this I'm thirteen and i came up with this a few years ago.
