Sometimes when TMM is fighting a mishima I feel like he almost wants the opponent to win, like he is disappointed if the opponent drops a combo and such.

You know someone's a true Mishima if he/she encourages you to do your combos properly. That goes with spacing, low parries, hellsweeps, and the good stuff.

I dont think its that bad but my pad is already giving in lol. It starts to get pretty demanding if I play a mishima for longer than 2 hours though. I have much more issues playing characters with a large good movepool like xiaoyu.

I am slowly improving with my Heihachi skills (fundamentals). I like trying to make my apponent wiff and taking a humble aproach. I don't duck much with Heihachi. Only if i think a low is coming. I am taking a Rocky semi style approach. No matter how much i het beat. I keep coming back for more. And try learning from my mistakes. I am from the Netherlands BTW.

Me too, with heihachi its like that. You gotta get pasted in order to understand which move to use in which situation. He also forces you to really master your timing and movement. I have nearly 600 wins online but the ratio win/lose is 30-40% percent wins. But the reward when you do a perfect match is really rewarding

I main Heihachi and play on pad, used him as my main since tekken 2 and have played all the tekkens… T7 at first was hard because they dummed all the characters down including Hei, but he’s still extremely tough to play. I also don’t duck much, although it’s really hard to do on reaction because I play on ps4. Best thing is just to learn and find what works for you, punishment is really important and knowing what makes a good mixup. I’d also say that although his lows are total garbage you can’t be afraid to use them as it gets into peoples heads and then you can mind game them for launches or counter hits. It takes time to perfect, and I’m far from that myself but hey it’s getting there slowly lol

Once I started to understand that each time heihachi "loses" his turn hes still usually only -2 which means they gotta retaliate with something fast which is usually a high, linear or a punch which you can blow up with f3+4, stepping, high crush with d4 or omen or even db1+2 but personally most importantly his fc df4. Only works if they are playing too careful ofcourse otherwise people start hopkicking on -2 lol but that also guarantees f1+2 punish into iron hand. fcdf4 guarantees a ff2 (which will launch if they get up incorrectly) and can be mixed with f4 or ws2 or even ws4. Once people start going for slower moves that track and/or kill ducking you can go crazy with 1b2 which deals pretty good damage on counterhit and still doesnt put you in a huge risk due to it being a tracking -2 mid followup. Thats my experience atleast and while i think heihach is best played by using his better movement, frames and pushback on block on certain moves to play whiffpunish heavy focusing your gameplay on just that is hard online because ft3 is very little time and you need any cheese you get vs online demons lol Just my thoughts tho

You can't even afford to be at -10 against Heihachi at the wall let alone take a risk of whiffing a parry. All of his punishes, 10f, 12f, 13f, 14f and 15f wall splat and break the wall obviously. You just HAVE TO be patient.
