Because of those deleted scenes, if you did not know about those scenes, you would not know who was following along behind her casket in episode three. You would not have known that those little girls were her nieces and therefore Luke and Leia’s cousins.

Yoda doesn't naturally talk like that, he does it to pay tribute to his master. He likely didn't do it because he was distracted by the importance of the moment. This is why Yaddle doesn't have the signature accent as seen in tales of the jedi

Padme telling the clone “we need to get to that hanger” is not a continuity error. Just Padme making a reasonable assumption. I believe it’s reasonable for Padmé to infer that Dooku, who is fleeing the battle on a speeder, is attempting to escape the planet. To do so, he would logically need to reach a ship, which is most likely located in a hangar.

Maybe they did discuss her, there is only two hours of movie and less than 10 of those minutes were spent at the homestead. But they obviously kept their true identities from them. Also, face it, although George had the rough saga in mind, he didn't even know he would get to make a trilogy, let alone a prequel trilogy too. Darth Vader being Luke's father wasn't even a concept at that point.

It’s not a cut scene, it’s still in the movie. When Anakin and Obi-Wan are chasing the bounty hunter you can see an X-Wing and TIE-Fighter chase in the Coruscant traffic. Other scenes you mentioned some can be given over to Greek drama where what the audience thinks should happen and is very much implied as such actually happens offscreen and not a mistake because we didn’t actually see it onscreen.

Even if the lightsaber had a blue and green crystal it switching originally to green can be explained. He was disarmed right before the clones arrive. Picking up the closest lightsaber to fight is what anyone would do. But the change back to blue needs to have multiple crystals. The bridge scene you mentioned has a large cut scene that explains the distance they seemed to travel so quickly.

Notice that all their ships are aerodynamic? No air in space. Little need for wings and such in an atmosphere when you use a space ship to get around. Especially when altering the laws of physics. Luke never completed his training is why he couldn't use lightning.

The coma completely changes what he is saying from the question you are assuming he's asking, to the statement he is actually making. Nor was there any upward inflection at the end of the statement, which is often used to signify a question.

Here are just my two Republic credits. Let's look at the poetry of how the prequels helped to augment the ot. The issue as to if Luke was trained on how to defend against force lightning ? Just look at the encounter of Obi-Wan/ Anakin vs. Dooku. Obi-Wan wasn't caught off guard and was able to use his lightsaber to absorb the bolts. What was Luke's" first steps down a much wider path"? Deflecting stun bolts that he could only sense through the force. It was Anakin who rushed into the fight and ended up with Obi-Wan being injured and trapped,and Anakin lost his right forearm. Luke lost his right hand when he was reckless on Cloud City. Look at how that scene with Luke standing over a soundly beaten Vater. He looks down at the wires in that right arm and then to his own gloved mechanical hand holding his lightsaber. " Good, good... now kill him. " Luke realizes in this moment that if he has any chance at all to redeem Anakin Skywalker, he will need to need to surrender his fate to the will of the force. Like his two Masters did.

"Refugees" come in all sizes, shapes, colors, casts, and persuasions. Amadala could perceive herself as a "fancy" and "influential" refugee while Anakin could be kind of symbolic of her man servant or butler, so dresses "down" and has slightly unkempt hair in a "man bun".

AOTC is my favorite of the prequels, though it has some of the most cringe-worthy moments and dialogue. Seeing multiple Jedi in battle was the reason, even though most of them were terrible and died easily. Also, I just assumed that only Yoda had the knowledge and strength in the Force to block Force Lightning. That was just my assumption though.

Oh man. The continuity errors created by the prequel trilogy are the biggest reasons I don't like them. Here are some of the ones that bug me the most. A HEW HOPE: *Leia: "General Kenobi, years ago you served my father in the clone wars." Obi-Wan didn't serve Senator Organa directly or in particular. *Obi-Wan: "I can't seem to remember ever owning a droid." *Obi-Wan: "Your father wanted you to have this when you were old enough." *Beru: "He's got too much of his father in him." Did Beru know Anakin became Vader? How would she know that? Why isn't she more terrified? *Vader never looked for his children at his uncle's house, which would be the first place anyone with a brain would look THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK *Obi-Wan: "You will learn from Yoda, the same Jedi Master who instructed me." Except Yoda is now a kindergarden teacher and Qui-Gon Jinn is his actual instructor. *Yoda: "You are reckless" Obi-Wan: "So was I, if you remember." Yoda never reprimanded Obi-Wan for being reckless. These lines would imply he had a more intimate relationship with Yoda than the prequels show. *Obi-Wan: "He was our last hope." Yoda: "No, there is another." So, Obi-Wan didn't know about Leia? RETURN OF THE JEDI *Leia remembers her mother. Luke does not. Their mother must have survived for a few years in the original backstory George and Irwin Kershner were working from. *The Emperor tempts Luke with anger, and I always felt it was implied that this was supposed to be how he tempted Vader to the dark side. *Obi-Wan thought he could train Anakin "just as well as Yoda. I was wrong," implying Yoda was going to train Anakin but Obi-Wan insisted on doing it instead. Some of these have been 'fixed' by comics and TV shows, but it's never a satisfying fix. And it bugs me that the original backstory George and Irwin hinted at sounds much more interesting and heartfelt than what we ended up with.

The lightning hits him directly in his palm first, just as it should. But Sidious is so powerful that he's immediately overwhelmed. Watch again and you'll see it.

Bad idea to remind me of Tatooine in AotC, lol. Anakin massacring an entire village BEFORE Clone Wars completely undercuts Clone Wars entirely (and because Clone Wars is so much better than the prequels, I just take Clone Wars as my personal cannon, and disregard basically all of Clone Wars). It especially undercuts the idea that I see many people claim that Clone Wars shows Anakin's gradual descent to the dark side. I've never agreed with that anyway (it shows his gradual disillusionment with the Jedi, it does not show his gradual falling to the dark side, he kinda goes from zero to child slaughter on that one), but it's especially silly since if you DO take Clone Wars as cannon, then he has already substantially fallen! And it also undercuts any idea that Padme is a remotely ethical, trustworthy, or even sane person. Like, if he hadn't told her about his massacre it would be one thing (and I think that would have been much better storytelling), but he did tell her. The ONLY sane reaction to that, no matter how much she loves him, is "holy crap, get away from me you psycho!" and probably reporting him to the authorities on Coruscant, but DEFINITELY breaking up with him and getting a restraining order if he won't accept that.
