*It's brilliant how uncle Ben died due to the lack of responsibility and aunt May died because it was the other way around.* And even though Peter always suffers consequences that would break almost anyone.....he still choses to be a hero. This is why most of spider-man representations (like spectacular spider-man and spider-man ps4) show us why he is the best hero of all time.

Man, the flip in Peter's voice between the two 'You knew?' with Ock. The first is stunned, confused, worried.... But then realisation sinks in. Otto knew this whole time, and still kept hurting him. Then that worry changes. Becomes anger. Seething, unknowable wrath as he realises his idol was not good enough of a man to spare his greatest supporter.

The ending really highlights Peter's growth since becoming Spider-Man. When he first got his powers, he made a selfish choice instead of doing the right thing and it got Uncle Ben killed. Now he's given a chance to make a selfish choice again, but he does the right thing even though it causes Aunt May to die.

That whole final sequence there, when they are fighting on the side of Oscorp Tower is just genius, both in design and writing. Especially after the first slight story-cut, with Peter's theme swelling in the background while he manages to bring Otto closer and closer to defeat. And the dialoge alongside it ... just amazing.

Also just because you met a few asshole on your journey doesn't mean that *you* get to decide to fuck over all of humanity. The data actually backs me up not you because in a similar situation of Life is strange *most* people chose to save the town over Chloe even though that town was full of assholes that "didn't deserve it." In the original infamous game *most* people chose to save the doctors over Cole's GF even those that was also an apocalyptic situation where people "didn't deserve it." In games like the Moral machine, and thought experiments like the Trolley problem people *usually* choose to save many lives over just a few. So no, both Joel and you are very wrong here sir.

Even the writers didn't believe that this is the direction that they're taking. In an interview they talked about thinking about this for weeks before asking Marvel and Disney if they can kill May. Marvel and Disney were really for it, as long as the story is good enough.

The part that really hurts, and the part that a lot of people miss if you don't have a chronic illness is when Doc Ock says "I'll be trapped in this *useless* body!" I think very few people understand what it's like to be trapped in a useless body. To be bedridden, or stuck in a hospital for months on end, wishing for *anything* to give you freedom. I don't condone Ock's actions, but I understand. I'd give anything to be free from what cripples me.

I've been playing this game since the beginning of this month, and each time I do a boss fight, I feel the exact same way as you where I want to try it again and do better at it. I really wish when you finish the story, you can go back and play whatever mission you want. You're play through is the fourth one I've watched of this game and I never get tired of it! I will admit I don't like watching the side stuff and people collecting stuff, But it's much different when you're actually doing it.

from someone who played this game twice all the way threw watching it here and experiencing the ending for the 3rd time got me the HARDEST. i will admit i did tear up when playing it but this 3rd time i full out cried even knowing exactly what would happen.. 🥺 Its one of the hardest discission i dont know what i would do in that scenario

Nice to see you like the game. Spider-Man is such a rich character. That said, if you find that sad (the ending and all), you better stay off Spider-Man's comics. Its a whole new level of sadness happening in a loop from a long, long time. I'll never understand why the writers do those things with him time and time again. I've been reading SM's comics since I was 14, and I'm in my mid 30's now. I dont even know how I kept going. Maybe because he suffered so much and didnt quit. I really dont know. But its easy to understand why so many people like him. Kudos on the series!

MJ is really great in this game. She independent, her own character, she's not just a supermodel that needs to be rescued all the time. By making her a reporter she has actual agency in the plot and helps drive it forward.

That at the end with Norman and Harry, a lot of people speculate that that might be the symbiote that's attached to Harry in that tank. We don't know for sure, and it hasn't been officially confirmed either. I'm super excited about what's gonna happen in the next game. Loved your playthrough btw!
