Especially since that 2002 film went through more than 15 years of development hell before it finally got made, with big names supposedly attached. For years we heard that Cannon was making it, then James Cameron was, then Tom Cruise was going to be Peter Parker. Every time I heard the project was cancelled I was so disappointed. Then it finally got made and it was incredibly satisfying. Seeing this movie was like feeling that way again, and I don't get to feel that way too often anymore. New experiences and thrills are something to look back on.

It honestly feels like their the same person but at different stages of life, Tom represents the energetic kid who gained his powers recently and is still on the heroic adrenaline and hasn't faced much setback until recent events, Andrew represents that stage of life where immaturity and maturity collide, being both mature as he has gone through dark times, he doesn't have the heroic adrenaline, but still holds passion for being a hero as he found light through hardship, Toby is like the final end result of all the hardship and growing Spider-man would go through, he is like a calm and restrained man who is still the lovable Peter Parker through humour and good-natured behaviour, but shows deep wisdom and empathy as an older gentleman would for a younger troubled man.

Teasing us with potentially amazing characters and then dropping the ball. After all the Ralph Bohners and Trevor Slatterys the fact that they actually brought in Andrew and Tobey how they were was incredible. Not just how everyone wanted them to appear but done in a way that works outside of being pure fan service. It’s why people keep saying even after 2 years how unreal this movie still feels

It honestly feels like their the same person but at different stages of life, Tom represents the energetic Peter Parker who gained his powers recently and is still on the heroic adrenaline and hasn't faced much setback until recent events, Andrew represents that stage of life where immaturity and maturity collide, being both mature as he has gone through dark times, he doesn't have the heroic adrenaline, but still holds passion for being a hero as he found light through hardship, Toby is like the final end result of all the hardship and growing Spider-man would go through, he is like a calm and restrained man who is still the lovable Peter Parker through humour and good-natured behaviour, but shows deep wisdom and empathy as an older gentleman would for a younger troubled man; he is like a deep ocean of experience and has learned from many mistakes, being aware of the variables in life and that he still has more to learn.
