Well, all these "useless" rooms do serve as background info on were 47 has this vast range of knowledge and expertise. He plays bongos like a natural, he mixes drinks like a profession bartender, he reads books to get knowledge of everywhere he goes, from history to noticeable spots to just blend in like a citizen of the area. Tips for everyone in this comment section: So if you are on a showdown mission and your target is a foodie and is dehydrated, but you catch a suspect smoking then that's not your target. And also if your target is for example bald, has glasses, a necklace and earrings and you find a suspect who perfectly matches that description but has a tattoo then that's not your target... You need to look for the small details because that will save you alot of time. Once you have identified the leader then follow him around so you can see what he eats or drinks. If you have an objective like collateral accident then just follow him around until you find a spot where he walks under a chandelier or something like that. Then wait until he repeats his path and shoot it. Also take contracts with New York in them. Why? Because the vault will contain a large amount of mercers so you can finally buy that silenced pistol you want. I hope that this helped somebody.

Also worth noting if you wear the robber disguise and steal the gold bars it spawns a free golden sawed-off Shotgun and in the vault is the burial dagger too

One great tip I can give from experience (provided you are not on hard mode). Make an attempt to avoid alerted territories combined with showdown missions. Given that you have to often come close to the targets to be able to identify them, it makes it really hard if those same targets will automatically spot you (due to being an alerted territory). It's best if you take down the alerted territories first.

Additional tip: if you are wearing a civilian disguise the targets will not spot you and you can get close to them. Important caveat: THE SUIT YOU START WITH DOES NOT COUNT, so you need to go and find a waiter/cook/tech staff or some other civilian NPC and grab their clothes first.

I'm kinda conflicted on this advice. On one hand yeah it makes sense to take the Alerted Territories out of the way. However, if you fail an Alerted Mission, you fail the campaign. You also fail the campaign if you fail the Showdown. That actually kinda makes a failsafe where if you fail the Showdown you fail the campaign anyway, and you have essentially no chance of failing the campaign if you don't fail the showdown.

Oh yes, my favorite levels out of Freelancer is Slapienza and Dubye-bye. Ha ha ha!🤣 I call Sapienza "Slapienza" because I always bring a fish which I named "Omega" with me for some comedy levels of chaos. Tip. If you're ever in the New York level in Freelancer - GO AND RAID THE VAULT!!! You pick up extra money. Do that for EVERY visit in New York. It's actually a lot easier to do than taking out the targets.

Quick tip, use mendoza for your showdowns! Bring a sniper with you, shoot near the targets until it pops up how long until the leader gets to the exit and you found the leader ! Hope this helps

Fun fact, if you have an MP, Sniper Rifle or an assault rifle and hold down the shoot button while leaving a location and keep the button pressed until you get to your safehouse you can shoot inside the building! Disclaimer: The explosives in the Freelancer boxes WORK and will sent you in an infinite death loop (until you go back to menu) if you shoot them from up close. Disclaimer 2: The ability to shoot in the safehouse goes away when you 1. enter the shooting range and 2. exit to menu. Disclaimer 3: If you are in the safehouse you can make a load out with either of these weapons, leave to menu, reload Freelancer and hold down the shoot button while loading and you can do it without needing to exit a mission.

Here’s a tip: after you complete the campaign, grab your item from the fancy box, then start spamming your inventory. Opening and closing it as fast as you can. When it gives you the mission bonus, 30k, it will big out for a minute and keep giving you 30k over and over. I just made like 300k on my first attempt at it

Interesting thing about 47, he metabolizes alcohol so fast he cannot physically get drunk or poison himself with alcohol. His palette is also so sensitive he can only eat the finest quality ingredients or else he’ll literally vomit. So typically, 47 is drinking expensive and fine alcohol for the fuck of it, or simply for the taste. His suits are also meant to be incredibly high end and tailored, upwards of 400,000 dollars a piece at least. Worth noting too 47 spends all of his money on these things as they’re the only things he considers “joyful” as he lacks any emotion.
