Hi prachi I am 23 n using this shampoo for a year.... And I had curly frizzy hair which turned smooth n shiney with this... Yes it is a miracle but few points :1. Always make this shampoo in iron vessel as iron is good for hair. 2. Never store it in plastic bottle as it won't be as effective. 3. Make a powder of these 3 ingredients and store it... When you need shampoo make it as per your instructions 4. For shine and good smell add orange peel powder, for dandruff add neem leaves, for thick hair add fenugreek seeds It works wonders...

Hi prachi, useful tip: you don't have to throw the solid remains of shikakai and reetha, wrap them in a small cloth and toss them in your washing machine. In the USA, people use them for laundry not aware they can try that on their hair. But yes it acts as all purpose cleaner for two more times. Hope this helps. You can find a small cloth bag or a net bag, purpose is not to let it come out during wash cycle.

It doesn’t need any conditioner I just add boiled tea leaves water and it’s conditions my hair.. For dandruff just add lemon juice to it it really helps... I used this shampoo a year back.I had long hair and due to tremendous hairloss I chopped it.I looked for so many remedies but nothing worked.I prepared this shampoo.I added hibiscus flowers and leaves .Im from kerala and these ingredients are abundantly available here .I started using the shampoo and the results are amazing .You don't need a conditioner after using this .my hair is shiny and it stopped hairfall to an extend .It does not lather like the other store bought shampoos but it makes your hair clean and it keep scalp cool.I discontinued this but definitely try this again .love you Prachi 😘😘.

What we do in Tamil Nadu is ....we sun dry these Ingredients powder it smoothly and take the amount necessary for every use add hot water to the powder make it as a paste and use it as shampoo ... The best way to use this is apply sesame oil for half an hour or one hour then use shikakai for best results

Yes, i used this shampoo for almost 2 years, and it did wonders to my hair, gave jet black hair and also made my hair thick. But, had to leave this shampoo because of very very tight schedule.. But yes, just watched this video and found out that this is the same remedy i have been using , though i used to add fenugreek seeds as well for smoothness and shine. Without fenugreek seeds , this shampoo is very dry.

I have been using it since 5 years mostly when time permits. the shelf life of the shampoo is about a week. You can add the juice of boiled hibiscuss flowers and leaves which adds the lot of shine to hair. it will give the shampoo a gel like consistency preventing it from going to eyes.

@@g.minimoniswag357 it is water but it gives you lather. When you try to use it in your hair. Wet your hair and try to wash your hair with this liquid, in the first go you won't get much lather. But once you rinse it out with water and use this liquid agian on your hair it lathers like shampoo and leaves your hair super clean and fresh.

@@akanshabhagat5404 I don't make that much at a time whenever I want to wash my hair .I put all three things in a cloth and make a pouch of it and let it soak for overnight in the morning I boil that water for 1 to 2 hours when it completely cool down I wash my hair with this water after washing my hair I pour. 2 3 mugs of plain water that's it.

Just came on line and I remember the name Prachi. Some time ago, you gave a lot of description on shampoos and you gave us the names of shampoo we get at Amazon and how good they are and the one I bought you swore by it like how it has kept your hair so so good. So based on your recommendation I went on line and bought the shampoo, they came in a pack of 2, I did not want 2 but only one to check if it is okay with my hair. I don't remember the name but that shampoo which you said you kept on your bathing room window so it could be used any time as it was very mild. I used it once but was disappointed as it left my hair dry, I did not think it could be the shampoo and so I used it again the same dryness. I had very good hair before using this shampoo. Then I went on line and checked on the shampoo when it was said, a good shampoo but leaves the hair dry. That was it, the main cause was the shampoo. I got in touch with amazon and told them I want to return one bottle as it is sealed. I am very disappointed with the shampoo, but they said this is not returnable. I had no choice but to empty all the shampoo in the drain and since then my hair has never come back to what it was. If you can help me I will be grateful. My hair has become dry, frizzy and the scalp itchy too on account of the dryness. If anyone can help me I will be very grateful. Thank you.

There is one other way you can grind reetha shikakai and Amla (make sure seeds are removed from reetha)and then it can be stored in an airtight container. Take the powder and mix water apply on hair and leave for 10-15 mins and wash off. Because in liquid form it cannot be stored for more than 2 days. But in solid form it can be stored for more than 2 months.

@@sweetspicy92 you can indeed do that if you're looking for a liquid concoction to wash your hair. You can use it to rinse hair if it's not oiled. it's useful in cleaning. The method which I told can be used as hair mask once or twice a week. And just try This mask once and you'll see the results.

It works from first day itself and I was very happy. But if you make 3 litres worth shampoo please store it in the refrigerator. I just made the shampoo a few days ago and I had to throw it away right now due to fungus 😭😭😭😭

I have been using this shampoo since 3 years, here's the result: 1. Hairfall stopped (not joking) 2. Dandruff Vanished (literally, even itchiness gone) 3. I used to get small pimples/boils on my scalp, they don't occur anymore. 4. My real hairs were jet black but now they have kinda brownish tinct. It's always good to go back to natural. I have already used these ingredients.. All you have to do is, get all these like prachi mentioned. Dry it out in sun for 1week. And powder it.there are places where they powder these kind of things. Use a spoon of the powder add little water and apply it to ur scalp. Wash off.. Simple.. And effective.
