@Concretewiththehauses Hello 👋, saw this and Sub"d. I have 2 Buddies that do Concrete.....One is like me, he is going to do Craftsmanship, Built to last and he has a year waiting list.... The other is the Shortcut King....he poured a slab the other day using pea gravel grout instead of getting the Big pump and using 3/4 rock. And it cracked just like a lot of others on this KZbin. 🤔🤔🤣🤣🍺🍺

What a beautiful place to hang out in the evenings. The retaining walls really helped set it off. Very nice indeed. I do love the milled boards stamps, so real looking, yet it's concrete! I will catch the rest of the coloring, sawing, and sealing, turning concrete into eye candy. Love it! I hope y'all have a great weekend too, thanks.👍❤️🙏🇺🇸🇺🇸

Absolutely love the wood plank stamp! That's now what I want for my patio. You were talking about the last bit of concrete in the truck, my old neighbor had his own concrete business and he had a big job, lots of trucks, and my Dad wanted to extend our driveway/ backyard parking, so Joe our neighbor sent the trucks with that little bit of leftover concrete to our house and we got a new extension on our back driveway free of charge. Of course my Mom made sure the workers had plenty to eat and drink for all their hard work. Ah the good ol' days 😂 He would be amazed on how far concrete has come!

I drove concrete trucks back in the early 80's .Old 18 speed "B" model Macks . Your work is spectacular, I'm kind of a creative guy and those plank stamps and colors are so neat .Does the concrete company charge you crazy washout fees for using color in their trucks? We have a large Concrete company with front discharge trucks and theyre all powered by Hydrogen .Anyway, I just became a follower of your channel, keep up the great work.

They've got a drain system installed down there
@Concretewiththehauses Жыл бұрын
There is the drain at the bottom, step, forgot to mention that several people have commented
@ddmau7995 Жыл бұрын
You didn't see the drain while finishing, in almost all municipalities it is code to have a drain in all outside areas where there are stairs . Water goes into a sump pump and then gets pumped into the yard .

If worked in a very large sawmill, and many of old worker's had missing finger's, 😮😢.don't put your fingers in there was definitely the top safety message, hand injuries were normal in the sawmill, my work station was the chipper, and it chipped 4foot wide logs 30 feet long in 3 seconds, so putting my hands in was a death penalty. 😮😮😮.especially when jammed timber was required for me to reach into the mouth,

How did you get the plank stamps to go up against the firepit walls?
@Handyguy223 Жыл бұрын
You can bend those stamps in pretty close to walls. Then a texture skin and joint roller is used to get it the rest of the way/touch it up.

Do you have home owners sign a waber that says you and the cement company are not responsible for damage caused by cement truck driving on the asphalt driveway?
@saljablo2767 Жыл бұрын
Not speaking about your team but from what I’ve learned. If you don’t detail every expectation and monitor the job closely, as the client, your job will not get the attention you expect. I never fully trust anyone to just do a job correctly. You have to be a little bit of a dick. “Hey guy, this homeowner is a dick, so make sure we get this done right and the job is cleaned up right. I don’t want to hear anything”. Being a “great customer” gets you nowhere.
