Just FYI, Long highways have curves in them on purpose to stop highway hypnosis. In the early days of highways in the USA, they built a long highway that was completely straight. After many many accidents on it because of highway hypnosis, curves became a requirement and the length of straight sections was limited. I think that straight stretch of highway is still there but they put all sorts of traffic devices to break up the monotony.

Joseph DeAngelo was a cop for multiple departments in the Sacramento California area. He was actually a cop for my home town of Auburn California just north of Sacramento for a few years before he was caught stealing from a department store. I remember when he was arrested and they solved all those cases finally, it was a big deal. He committed a lot of terrible acts and I recommend reading up on what he actually did if you’re interested and how the whole ordeal affected the Sacramento area for decades.

The sequel is actually really good too. I did a report back in High School on a few serial murders. Christopher Wilder (Christopher Bernard Wilder) also known as the Beauty Queen Killer and the Snapshot Killer was one of them. Its an incredible story to read up on. The next episode (The Farms Secret) really nailed the story spot on. I really hope you (Fooster) play the next episode. It will blow you away. If for some reason Fooster does NOT play the next episode, and people want to see the playthrough, another content creator (The Outer Middle Show) played it and uploaded the video just the other day. It is a good watch, but I really want to see / hear Foosters reaction to it. Please play the sequel, Fooster!

As someone who works in a skyscraping building with a desk right beside the window, it depends on the angle you look at it. I have to really lean in to see the sidewalk but watching the cars go by and the daylight fade can be super relaxing. What I especially hate is how much noise there is from traffic. Sirens, horns, airplanes -- constantly. Thankfully, I get to drive off into the sunset to suburban beaches every night.

Where I grew up, there was an ice cream dish called a "Dare To Be Great." They were usually ordered for things like birthday parties, but the challenge was, if you could eat one by yourself, without tossing your cookies, within a time limit, it was free. I only ever heard of one person doing it, and I'm not at all sure that was a reliable source. It had 2 scoops of each flavor the parlor had, and every topping they had, so something like 60 scoops of ice cream. They made their own ice cream, and it wasn't pumped up with air, so, it would be a rare person who could do that in 1 hour. The toppings were Chocolate fudge, strawberry, banana, pineapple, raspberry, among many others.

That's only been true since they ripped out the copper wiring and replaced it with fibre-optic, making everything a version of VOIP. Before that, the copper wiring itself carried the power to run your phone even when your local power was out, which was required by law so that emergency calls could still go through. If you still have copper wiring between your home and the local exchange, your landline phone should still work during outages.
