This Hotel Has A FREE DINNER BUFFET! Drury Inn Food + Room Review

I've never stayed at Drury Inn Hotels EVER but when I served they had a free breakfast buffet and dinner buffet I had to try it all! I reviewed the Drury suites food AND room and all the amenities as well! I wanna stay at more budget hotels! which other hotels or resorts do you want me to stay at and review?

Places like this were a godsend for when we went on vacation when I was a kid. My parents worked very hard and scraped together the money to take us on vacation every few years. When there was an option to stay at a reasonably priced hotel that had bonuses like free hot breakfast or dinner, we stayed at those. I'm sure that they would have preferred to have the money to eat out every night, but as kids, we didn't know the difference. We weren't picky, so it was fun to just have accessible food and to be able to swim in the pool.

hey timmy love your videos but I'm not sure if you know but the reason why hotels have that giant round about is to allow you to pull up to the front check in then you can go park your car hopefully that helps save you more time. Also for someone who travels for work and has to use hotels often you are very cute to watch !!!

They have a weekly rotation and it's the same at each location. They also offer 3 free alcoholic drinks per adult staying. Mixed drinks or beer or wine. Our family enjoys staying there.

Definitely the food did not look appetizing I would rather have the waffle House which I love so much and I miss it because I live in Las Vegas now and we have everything except waffle house 😢

The drury inn menu changes nightly! My daughter and I were at one last weekend and the first night we had meatballs and gravy, mashed potatoes, veggies, vegetable soup, (salad, hot dogs, and nachos are every night). The next night was pulled pork sliders, baked potatoes, and baked beans. Places like that season "to the masses". Kids, elderly, etc may not be able to handle extra salty and peppery foods, that's why you grab those salt and pepper packets they have out and season to your liking! That card they gave you at check in is for free beer, wine, or mixed drinks (ours was limit 3 each night!) The soda machine and coffee machine in the dining area are available 24 hrs a day to you. You definitely did the waffle wrong! They have bigger cups for batter portions, you took a syrup cup...lol.

Yes! It’s a great option and the Drury we stay in had Mr. Pibb fountain and 20 oz in their shop…you never see that in the wild….takes me right back to the 80’s. For the price, Drury is a great place to stay!

Drury Hotels are really cool because they take old buildings and refurbish them into hotels…I stayed at one in Cleveland that was the old Department of Education - the restaurant was called “The Teacher’s Lounge”

I have stayed at the Drury quite a few times and it has never disappointed! I love the kickback amenity! The food is t really anything special, but it’s “free” so it’s just fun to pig out! 😂 Oh and the free drinks! Anyhoo! The strut fart sounds are the best 😂. I hear what you're saying about the food and I used to work at one of those buffets many years ago and anytime you take hot food put it on the line. It's usually fine until you put covers over it that just traps in all that moisture the steam and changes the food completely

Stayed at this hotel last week based on everyone's comments and awesome review. Highly recommend this place as it certainly is in my opinion the best bang for the buck for the family. Can't beat the complete breakfast and the 5:30 kickback. They said that the kickback is just small snacks but the variety of food during the kickback is enough for a decent dinner meal and they rotate the dishes every day. The nice touch for the adults is the 3 free alcoholic drinks (tip your bartender please). Plus the popcorn, then free coffee and hot chocolate around the clock. We did not rent a car. Just Ubered it from the airport and availed of the free Disney shuttle. We also ordered groceries and toiletries through the Walmart + website and had it delivered without any problems. This place is simply amazing!!

Drury Inn was always my go-to place when traveling. My two dogs could stay for free, you got three drink tickets, a dinner buffet and a free breakfast. And every one I've ever stayed at was nice. Superior to all others for general travel. I had to edit this to say, while I agree with your rating about food, if you're traveling with pets it's a big bonus because most places charge $60 or higher extra for them.

The self grateful reminders was so funny! When you became exited and smiled at country gravy I knew all I needed to at that point! 😂 Nothing wrong with gravy but when a bagged or canned gravy becomes yummy we are approaching apocalypse grateful food! I stayed at a Drury Inn in 2010 in Greenville SC. They had free breakfast, free popcorn & sodas and a free heavy hors dourves in the evening. This is definitely a plus with a dinner buffet! Ok after watching the whole video what I got was the same as you but I had chicken tenders. I’d stay there again for sure.

I used to live in Asia and staring in Asia is pretty normal but it makes us Western folks feel super uncomfortable. I would sometimes just say “hi!!” And then they would get totally uncomfortable 😂 I think some people stare and don’t even realize they are doing it. Lol.

We always did the free meals and buffets at these types of hotels growing up, it saved money and to be honest though those are lower end foods (like the hot dogs and chicken strips) right now people are needing to buy cheaper options to feed their families so I wouldn’t quite drag or be as picky over free food but that’s just me. It is a family owned small hotel chain. Their employees love working there and it has been a lovely place to stay, in my 5 experiences. Nice service and very clean. They have always had a free drink or 2 as an overnight guest perk.

In my city, a Drury Inn was built a few years ago, ultimately replacing a Knights Inn motel that attracted some very seedy characters and activities, an eyesore so to speak. We stayed at the Drury Inn in Santa Fe and it was fantastic! All the food was great and the Kick-back happy hour serves 3 free drinks with a buffet that changes daily. One night we had pork sliders, baked potatoes with the choice of lots of toppings, pizza, nachos, a nice little salad bar, hot dogs, pasta, tea/soda/coffee. Servers and the manager came to our table to clear plates and make sure all our needs were met. Everything was hot and clean and well stocked and presented nicely. I would happily stay there again!

My drury in colorado also does a free happy hour with the free dinner. It includes 2 well drinks per person in the room and complimentry coffee and fountain drinks all day. When i went they had bbq sliders, soup, salad, fries the nachos and hotdogs

The food that they give for breakfast and dinner weren't the best quality cause they are giving it away to guests. Your room wasn't very expensive. You need to keep that in mind. The nicer places, you had to pay forcall the meals.

When you move to Orlando stay at the Rosen inn international!! They have buffet breakfast and buffet dinner.. also you’re literally next to the big McDonald’s you went to last time 😊 Also, that was Icon Park, it’s so pretty. Lots of restaurants and things to do.

Me my husband and our 2 kids always try to stay at drury. We love it. Indoor and outdoor pool and indoor hot tub. We eat the breakfast but never had the dinner since we go out to eat. But the popcorn during the day and all the free sodas ya want is definitely a plus

The breakfast looks very similar to the likes of Holiday Inn and Suites level. Its just enough to get you out of bed and to choose the hotel over a competitor. I had left the club one time around 5am and didnt get back to the hotel until 6am when they were setting up breakfast. I was so hungry i had like 4 plates of the breakfast eggs with cheese and toast. No lie!!! 😅

I love Drury Hotels .. so much so that I plan my trips in order to stay at them. I’ve stayed at this hotel and several others in different states .. the best thing about them other than the breakfast and dinner is that every Drury has the exact same layout . Don’t forget the 3 alcoholic beverages that are also included with your dinner also fountain drinks .. coke etc 🥰

Whole foods, trader Joe's and sprouts are right next to you. Then there's white Castle, portillos and Cheesecake factory along with allllll the restaurants in Dr Phillips. I hope you took advantage of exploring the area.
