That's what brings up a small downside: the cafeteria can get crowded QUICKLY. If you're taking advantage of early entry to the parks, you better make sure you set aside enough time to wait in line at the cafeteria.

Molly, the fitness center is pronounced Jack LaLane. He was a fitness guru popular from the 60's- 80's. I think most popular in the 70's. -more cute theming on the hotel's part.

We love It at universal. If you want we walk across the street from cabana to adventura/sapphire falls it is pretty quick, then we hop on the boat at sapphire falls which drops u off pretty close.

We stayed at Adventura across the street and used the Sapphire's water taxi to get to the parks so you could probably walk across the street from Cabana Bay too and use that mode of transportation!

Cabana Bay was awesome! I loved it! You could walk to the next resort and take a boat to inside the park area! And you had bowling, great food and swimming. Just beautiful!

TOTALLY loving the retro vibe. And the lobby has a straight up 50s/60s Americana Hotel feel....the one that used to be in Miami. The bit with the trees in the middle is really similar to the one that they had.

I love Cabana Bay Beach Resort. I've stayed there in 2016, 2017, and 2019 in different room types for my Universal family vacation trips. Our next trip will be in the fall and we'll be staying at Lowes Royal Pacific. I highly recommend staying at Universal hotels for family vacations. All of them have amenities and are worth the stays.

Stayed here in October and loved it. So much so that we’re going back in March for 5 nights. I’m an older fart, but even with a lot of kids here, the place has a very cool, relaxed vibe. We live in South Florida and go to Orlando every year, for the past 25 years, but it’s always a WDW moderate or value resort. Cabana Bay blew them all away in every way.

You can also walk from Cabana Bay to Sapphire and take the boat shuttles, we do that when we go, it’s super quick and lets you clear security ahead of the park.

Loved this video and seeing more on Universal Resorts! I’d love to see Molly stay at the other resorts especially Portofino Bay! You don’t hear or see much on the Universal Resorts like you do Disney Resorts. But I’d also love to see Molly stay at every resort Universal and Disney both! This video was perfect timing. We will be at Cabana Bay this month. I was pleasantly surprised that the value resort has so much to offer compared to Disney’s value resorts. And $99 with pass holder discount is untouchable at Disney. I’m very excited to be a new pass holder at Universal now. I was a little hesitant still when the husband insisted we get them. Can’t wait for that lazy river. 😁

I’m not M and M, but I stayed there during our last trip. My group walked to the park every day....so close! And so quick to get in. We generally boated back each evening. The hotel itself was comfortable and the pool was great. Food options, eh. We ate at Citywalk most evenings. Despite being a premier hotel, we felt the perks were worth it...especially that included express pass!

They have the best breakfast potatoes! We have always enjoyed staying at this resort. The last stay was in one of the of the Volcano Bay view rooms and the walk to our room was long and painful after a full day in the parks.
