I loved the crew 1. It encouraged me to buy the crew 2. When the Crew 1 got taken away i gave up on the franchise until the other day i was gifted motorfest by a friend then learned they are adding offline and now i've started playing again I realise what a true gem the Crew series is. I mean fun physics, great maps, huge car lists, ton of modification, a huge variation in cars, plane, boats , motorcyles. It is clear to me how much passion and love goes into the crew games and i am so thankgul they will remain with us.

Totally agree with you. I absolutely HATE when racing games are online only. The rebooted NFS game included (2015). NO game should be like that. I don't care what their excuse was or if people 'think' that online is the future. I wanted to get into and play Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown, but as soon as I saw that game was online only, my reaction was, PASS!!!!!!!. I only hope THAT game gets offline support as well.

Though as you said, what they did with Driver SF proved invaluable for showing how The Crew 1 could be done

So many people, including Coco Hayashi, Akari Kito, Aguri Onishi and Moeka Koizumi recently also played THE CREW 2 again because it is costed just $1 and can be playable offline, meaning that, once the server is eventually shutdown forever like THE CREW I, THE CREW II and 3 Motorfest both are permanently playable because of "OFFLINE MODE".

I bought this about 6 months ago. Only played it once. Two dayts I decided to revisit it and just yesterday found out the how it's doing on steam and on sale and offline coming. I played it all day yesterday and will conrinue to play it! Damn the whole US!! And am I'm about to cop Motorfest. I never was in to these games but after the demo they got me.

Just bought The Crew 2 & The Crew Motorfest bundle on steam. And what can I say - holly crap I'm having a blast. Playing Motorfest at the moment and it's so much fun, so many activities, cars, events and atmosphere of the game is fantastic! Have been playing FH5, but this is way more interesting and car customization is amazing.

The crew 2 is worth it like I got this game on PS4 when it came out in 2018 because it reminds me of Sonic and sega all stars racing transformed so I played it and Loved it a lot. Now I still haven't finished the crew 2 yet because it's been a minute but the game is worth it all these updates made the game so much better. Last thing is I already got this game on steam year's ago when it was on sale.

I personally think they didn't think of this idea until moterfest and had to ask ubisoft if they could put it into effect. But ubiaoft delisted the crew before they got the green light. Still very sad I just feel all the data ect was deleted so they can't go back/ubisoft won't let them.

Ubisoft most likely already delisted the game 'before' Ivory Tower was given approval for TC2 and TCM to receive offline patches. Remember developers don't get the final say in games, it's all in the hands of the publishers.
