@@ScribblesReactions knowing that there were deleted scenes from ep 9 between Ekko and Jinx after he saved her from suicide still makes me more sad, Ekko in these scenes explains to Jinx that a good version of her really exist and as they prepare for war they paint each other and start building together the new weapon for Jinx with a firelight overboard just like in episode 7 when they built the Z drive…why netflix cut, whyyyy :(

Definitely my favorite episode the animation is beautiful the music is awesome and fits so well. all the characters that we hadn’t had a chance to see. The dynamic between powder and ekko. This episode is probably the most beautiful of the series but at the same time one of the most heartbreaking! At least she know somewhere they’re having a happy life 🥲

I believe it's rather obvious that Ekko has always loved Powder (in his own universe or otherwise). They shared the same struggles. They've had very similar ambitions and dreams. They were both genius, greatly underappreciated and misunderstood inventors forced to divert from their true path by tragic events out of their control. Ekko hates Jinx, because she's an antithesis of Powder -- she is cruel, rash, destructive. The only thing that's left, is Powder's ability to build, to create. Ironically, what she builds is meant to destroy, to hurt, to kill. This is precisely why he hates her alter ego, because it represents everything Powder never wanted to be. It's like seeing someone you love die, but it's even worse -- she's alive, but she's been replaced by Jinx, and every attempt to bring Powder back, fails. He finally got a chance to live a beautiful life with a version of Powder that she was meant to be -- a sweet, cheerful girl, full of passion and love. The girl who wanted to build. Not because she wanted to be powerful, famous, or rich. She wanted to build, because it made her feel good. It made her feel like herself, it was her true nature. Even though Ekko finally had a chance to live a perfect life with his perfect Powder, he decided to leave. Why? This is where my personal interpretation begins. I think he felt like an intruder -- he did not belong to this universe. He wouldn't be able to feel true happiness, because he knew that he has left "the original Powder,' or should I say Jinx, and many others, behind. His line "I used to dream the Undercity could be like this. But somewhere, I got consumed by all the ways it wasn't. I gave up on it, I gave up on you." - I believe he wasn't talking just about the city. He was also talking about his biggest defeat and regret, an inability to bring Powder back. He felt regretful, sad. One of his greatest desires was to live in a fullfilled relationship with Powder from his own universe, the original Powder. Ekko living in a universe that didn’t belong to him, with a version of Powder whose love he didn’t get to earn or deserve, goes against his instincts, his nature. Feel free to share your thoughts on that -- I always enjoy to discuss or discover different perspectives!

Well to put it simple he didn’t want to take alt universe ekkos place because as u said thats not who he is. But i kinda like the fact that alt ekko and powder where already dating and that powder noticed that this ekko was not her ekko and still fell in love with him

Mentally. I am still in Alt universe, dancing with Powder. This series broke me and it was beautiful.

My extra large copium is in AU after Main universe Ekko left, the AU powder is finally intrigued to tap into her potential like Vander always told her. She will get herself into hex tech. And probably build one that can travel into Main timeline Ekko Universe because she somewhat got the hint she’s still alive due to Ekko painting. But my schizo copium didn’t stop there. She will switch places with Jinx in main Universe, she will experience a life with Vi, and Jinx will experience a life where both of his fathers are alive, and both of his brothers too are there. It won’t be permanent they will go back to their own universebut but it will be a therapy session/fan service of a spin-off of a season if it exist in the near future 😂. Hey riot 👀 I’m not suggesting anything buttt…

Their reactions are very good and fun, but there are certain details that they cannot understand well because they either pause a lot to talk to each other or they simply do not see the screen. Anyway, I'm glad to know that more people are reacting to this beautiful series. Greetings.

More sad that Ekko destroy that world. He show Powder that Vi still alive in his world, so she wanted to see her and gived the blue stones to Victor and Jayce. They created hextek and Victor destroy the world. Jayce, Ekko and Hime went to the same world, but different time. Hime - past, Ekko - present, and Jayce - future. Amazing writing.
@appetizinglyАй бұрын
That's definitely not the case. Heimer himself said that the anomaly looked different around Jayce and more specifically that he went to a different 'place' than himself and Ekko. If he were referring to time, he wouldn't have made that distinction since he and Ekko also arrived during different points in time.
@Mr._TakovicАй бұрын
@appetizingly It could be different because they didn't created this future yet. Or because Jayce was grabbed to the future by Victor himself. And Victor is that anomaly what Hime saw. They showed us that Powder has blue stones for a reason. And when Hime sing Ekko and Jayse walk in the same places but different time, to show us parallel how this world changed.
@appetizinglyАй бұрын
@@Mr._Takovic "It could be different because they didn't created this future yet" No, it's different because it's a different universe. Narratively they couldn't have made this any clearer without straight-up spelling it out. "Or because Jayce was grabbed to the future by Victor himself." All of them were shown exactly what they needed to be shown to make their way forward, that's the point. Jayce saw the future of his own world - or rather any world where Viktor and Jayce succeeded in creating Hextech - should Viktor succeed with his "glorious evolution" while Ekko saw a world unburdened by Hextech, one where his crush on Powder developed into love and a healthy relationship, to unlock his time travel with her and Heimer's help but also to open him up to working together with his world's Jinx. "They showed us that Powder has blue stones for a reason." Yes, to highlight the stark difference between Powder and Jinx, as mentioned above. At that point she had the crystals for years and chose not to use them, so there's really no evidence to even suggest that she's going to use them in the future.
@jynxceАй бұрын
Is this your personal fan fiction? No. The is two entirely different parallel universes based on whether Vi lived or died from that explosion. It's really about the fate of the unstable hextech left in Jayce's residence. He also most likely was killed in the explosion, or the hextech was never fully developed beyond its current state, and deteriorated (since Powder still has the remnants). Considering they've finished the show, this universe was Powder's good ending while the Arcane universe we know was Vi's. In either case, one of the sister's had to perish to eventually move and find happiness. There seemed to be no reality where they could both exist.
