This Improves Sonic Frontiers Graphics!

There's now also a pop-in mod as well! I didn't show that here but it will be in tomorrow's video. It just came out a few hours ago and been getting updates like every hour.. lol (right now I hear it causes flickering so it's not a definitive graphical upgrade yet) The Max LOD shown here definitely enhances the experience though, The forest and flowers look amazing when they're all at max detail. Rhea is my favorite island shown here. Also that Sonic model is 10/10. This mod crashes Ares Island atm which is why it's not shown here.

This is basically how Sonic's model was shaded and detailed in Sonic Unleashed. It's part of what made that game look so good then and still to this day.

Looks like modders are making the pc port an actual pc port lol. Now we just need someone to perfect how much/little pop in there is. Even with max lod the pop in is pretty aggressive. Hopefully someone manages to turn up the distance a few dozen meters more.

@@ahmedousugufara1153 I'm sure everything is based off of what they could do on nintendo switch. Sega doesn't care. They just "port". This is one of the key issues with Sonic 06. Microsoft asked them to improve the engine and polish the gameplay and it was part of the demo that was presented and impressed people. However it was decided that they were going to port THE PS3 VERSION that had not undergone those tweaks and polishes and that's the version we got: the worse one. Sonic team is absolutely moronic when it comes to porting. I am 90% sure we are playing a nintendo switch game on all platforms since the ns version runs impressively well. All these weird limitations were never fixed for consoles that could support them. A PS5, PC, and latest Xbox should be able to handle this beautifully with minimal pop-in if a handheld console can.

I just wish that Sonic Team didn’t use MegaScans, and rather instead, made original assets to be used. Cause let’s be real, a stylized environment fits much better with this version of Sonic.

As fantastic as the game looks now, I can't help but feel that sonics quill length has nothing to do with how aqward that center quill placement needs to be corrected. You can mess with his hair cut all you like, but I won't like it unless he fixes that center quill specifically.

It's actually code in the Mod manager. It's letterbox cutscenes or called something like that.
