Yeah, I'm kind of annoyed they didn't elaborate more on that. The guy purposefully rams them with a forklift and then calls the police?! I sure hope he's the one who got arrested! I know the United States have very weird laws about trespassers (we hear stories about people shooting trespassers over there), but surely purposefully trying to harm a few out of town people who got lost and accidentally "trespassed" ("took a wrong turn" would be more appropriate in this case) on your property is illegal!

Having a feature in development like this is actually really common. Most films with an original IP take approximately 10 years to make, often longer. Producers pick up dozens of films to develop and work on all of them at the same time, hoping to get one into production. It's a miracle whenever a film starts shooting

Hey A-Mac, so you're working on a movie, but you weren't entirely proud of the last passion project you worked on. For this next one, find a way to elevate yourself above criticism pre-emptively, go full Gance, make a weird avant-garde impressionist beast of a production. Make it too weird and personal for the average person to get, but just lay back on the "It's ART" justification. If you're lucky, you could get a standing ovation at Cannes. ...good luck man. There are so many ways to approach the medium of cinema, so many possible angles and genres and styles to explore and experiment with (or choose not to) that the thought of being in charge of something like that terrifies me. Mad respect, put your voice out there, learn from past experiences good and bad. You're a cool dude, make a cool movie.
