This INSANE MICRO Swimbait ACTUALLY WORKS!? Ultralight Fishing!

Crazy wind, super cold and clear....convention wisdom would NOT suggest go micro baits but that's exactly what we did! We were able to catch a ton of fish and a whole heck ton of different species of fish using micro glides, chatter baits and jigs!

To be honest I can’t believe I am about to admit this but I really like the GOOGAN micro crank baits and spinner bait as well. But I normally use the 1/16oz Z-MAN Z Viber I think it’s called because I mainly crappie fish.

I ended up buying a Blux Jack Claw 70F. Its a little 4.2g glide bait. The only thing is, replace the hooks. I end up putting # 14 owners. If you want to spend the extra money though you could always buy the Gancraft Jointed Claw 70.

That Forbitten bfs glide looks sick. More original than the other. I've found that removing the two Neodymium labeled magnets on the Curado allowed for a greater range of dialing in the brakes too.

I love my Yakrods Y-BFS, and it really holds up to some bigger fish. Also, that Maxed lures glide sure does catch them. Picked up a few on the last drop.

Maxed lures raptors r great but don't waste time buying the colors after u hit rocks or catch fish they turn white(bone) color. Find someone to paint them if u can. But Era glides is probably the best micro glide bait. Definitely harder to get and pricier

2-3 inch swim baits in natural baitfish colors and profiles are by far my favorite finesse baits.

Micro blades jigs are killers, I buy blades and make my own. Made one with a ned head, put a craw fish on and fished it as a bladebait at the botom or just short quick drags along the bottom. But I don't sell becuse some do not use splitrings. But expering with my own linkhead bladed/jig more motion, and a offsef hook for less snagging, and even use the head as a atractor when using big plastics for pike.

The reels are smaller and lighter with advanced braking. But there are MANY affordable options, just like with regular casters

It's specificity. It's a niche within a niche. Bfs is really just expensive due to the popularity. 3 years ago, everything bfs related was bottom dollar. It's just really hot right now.

Resin....easy mold with silicone then resin. Don't waste buying more colors. Buy one and copy it and mold it on your own than sell them.
