A complete product package should always include a well-detailed assembly manual, either as a hard copy or online. Sometimes even a very mechanically-inclined person can make a mistake by ignoring the manufacturer's assembly procedure. And that tab-bending tip should be included in the procedure.

Thanks for the helpful videos. I just bought a 23 manual Supra w this intake and I thought something was wrong with it! I've never heard sounds like that when letting off the gas under load and it was bothering me. Like my RS5 doesn't make these noises . Dealer assured me it was normal and sounded soo good so figured was OK and was the wastegates or intake but now I know for sure. Your lowering springs video on the Audi was very helpful too Now need to get the H&Rs for the Supra and drop it too. 👍 Already watched your video on that 💯 Glad itll be WAY easier than the Audi!

Great sounding intake but performs worse than stock especially in hot climates. Tested this intake in AZ, intake temps were 35F over ambient. Factory air box is 20F over ambient.

Noticed your comment. Got me a little worried about pulling the trigger on a $800 intake. How bad were the performance issues? What all did you notice?

Intake temps are 15-20F higher than with a factory air box. DME starts to pull timing when IAT’s are over 135, performance loss is significant especially if you live in a hot climate/higher elevation. With proper heat management and directing fresh air to the factory inlet with factory air box I’ve gotten my temps less than 10F over ambient temp.

Back when I had my 01 Corvette, a very popular upgrade was cutting out a section of the plastic panel under the factory intake, removing that intake box, installing a polycarbonate office document holder, and a Halltech air filter. The document holder directed outside air at the air filter. Air intake temps would then rarely rise above ambient temps, except briefly during stop & go traffic on a hot Summer day. This mod and a Borla exhaust produced an extra 15 wheel horsepower.

Just discovered your channel and I’m in love!! First vid I saw was the “things to know about the Supra”, really blew my mind. I have a 2023 6spd and I have a couple of questions. 1. Will this still fit on my version without issues? 2. Is this California CARB legal? I’m in the military and currently stationed in SC where there are no rules 😍 lol. But my wife wants us to retire in CA after my next 4yrs. So I want to be sure I’m good in the long run

Question! Would love the armaspeed air intake install on my B48 Supra. Would you know the pipe size that connect to the filter itself ? I’ve seen the b48 one and it doesn’t seem it’s a fully inlet pipe. So I was curious on if FTP turbo inlet pipe will fit it or another company that makes the turbo inlet pipe.

I see what you are saying after looking at some product photos. I would be money the B48 version of this intake would fit, since everything is compatible with OEM parts. BUT that C clip spot could cause issues. Let me ask Will from A90 and see what he knows and get back to you. I also asked Kailyn on my team to add the B48 option to our site if you end up ordering it 🙏🏻 I'll circle back when i hear from Will on this question!

@@CameronAlford let me know ! I’m looking into getting one. Been interested in the armaspeed for my b48 but been holding back since the pipe it comes with is half of the inlet pipe. I’ve seen other intake for the b48 that has a full inlet pipe that connects to the turbo housing with the rubber connector like the b58s. thanks bud!
