This Interaction is Really Strange... Ragnaros Combo Rogue | Darkmoon Races | Wild Hearthstone
It turns out that the Ragnaros the Firelord hero counts as a different class than Rogue. Because of this, if you play Tess Greymane while your hero is Ragnaros she replays all of the Rogue cards you played during the game (including herself)! This means you can infinitely Shadowstep or Vanish the Tess to remain stealthed every turn with Cloak of Shadows leaving you essentially unkillable.

Mark McKz played a deck that generated the boss-only Tail Swipe card a few months ago by using Nefarion to generate cards from your enemy Ragnaros hero's "class". Somehow I managed to win with infinite plot twist warlock with tickatus.. win by fatigue him because tick kill the kingsbane shuffled every turn

This seems like finally a good “infinite” despite the animations. The 8 health hero makes killing the rogue despite the combo easy enough (through non-targeted damage, i.e minion Ragnaros, mind blast, arcane missiles) that it hopefully doesn’t make problems

Yeah, mindblast doesn't actually kill you and because priest is a very easy matchup, you keep an armor vendor in hand for the combo turn to put you at 12 with the chance of gaining more every turn. Evasion prevents that and also spawn of shadows from triggering multiple times.

You can also try to pull some shenanegans with him in Quest Priest, since Amara still works normally when you have a max HP below 30.

@@alexstewart9592 Yeah that was well known back then too but you cant play domo+kill it+amara on same turn except with additional discount setups which back in Ungoro Meta already resulted in many losses so today you would die 99% of the time you drop domo. You can also Alexstrasza yourself next turn but that is too little nowadays, also you cannot HP during that turn without again discount shenanigans.

You already have king's bane to avoid fatigue. The espionage would do the exact thing Roffle spend some considerable time to explain when facing the non-conceding mage. Espionage doesn't add anything needed but it actively makes the deck worse.

@@fenixrises9854 You can play espionage later in the game to not dilute your draw until you have the combo pieces. Then you can play it for fatigue protection and not play any of the cards it generates so you don't mess Tess. Dane used a version with espionage and it wasn't bad at all.

The last Rogue player definitely threw at the end. They should have played the Teron first, then Lillian to force the Vanish to trigger the deathrattle. If that failed, it would have allowed them to kill the weakened minion and try for better odds on the next turn.

im pretty sure it's neutral, if you use Nefarian on him you get a card called tail swipe (4mana deal 4 damage neutral spell!), im pretty sure this is the only way to get tail swipe, other stealing affects often generate coins

He addresses this. you already have infinite dmg, so the card is a waste since it doesnt get you to your combo any faster. same logic applies to weapon buffs.
