This build looka really. I was suprised, seeing polaris lance ergo sum. I seen it used before only for herald dps, but not for killing majors, but i really like, how it performed in GM. Great job, quality of videos increasing in everu single video!! You became one of the best destiny content creator in the game!!

it's actually not as good for straight dps as originally thought, but it's great for major clearing! especially in roam content where you can get transcendence easily

@@ahreuwu it's just as good for DPS as thought coming at about the same as whisper but not needing crits. We just didn't know that Bonnum was as good as it was

Been fun with Cyr + Caliban with Threaded Spike. The Sever is a really nice addition with the 40% Damage reduction it provides. Especially since Woven Mail was nerfed to 5 seconds (that nerf really hurt Strand Hunter and Warlock in my eyes).

Heres à useful fact I discovered, if you have a fragment that gives wolven mail like facet of purpose, I think, or the strand fragment one and you get wolven mail from other sources the fragment will refresh the orginal longer time instead of giving you 5 seconds.

@@johnpenrose8678 great! Yeah I've had him since mid s23 it's really interesting as a build crafting challenge, I'm mostly afraid of making videos about him since going off your normal topics is bad for your channel but I wanna anyways. So we'll see what happens

I got inmost + woven while everyone was chasing synto rolls and I ended up never using any of my synto rolls when I got those many hours of overthrow after because I just can't get navigator. I tuned my build thanks to you showing me how to play more aggressively and then I adopted it to the point where I could comfortably farm liminality with randoms after a few beers and an 8h shift. Recently I figured out 1 very important thing: ppl really sleep on facet of bravery. It is basically gyrfalcons exotic perk in 1 fragment when playing with inmost light. You get grenade kills even in super hard content and get volatile rounds a lot. I really hope they don't neef any of it because it's such a swiss army build for me at this point. I rock solar nade, shurikens, gpg and shroud. Still inmost + woven, void primary or choir + the call + parasite or an explosive light gl with a loader. Triple orbs from nades, orbs from transcendence and my teatger for allies. I run the severing fragment and get my radiant from orbs. This build doesn't have 100% uptime on all the juicy things but it has like 80% uptime on lots more very powerful things than what ppl usually end up with in their builds. I'm yet to try it out with a risk runner ergo sum (thx aegis, I dismantled it after your 1st vid on ergo sum) but idk if I would like it. I tried your way of playing it with conditional and big ignitions but I find parasite way more useful than conditional literally everywhere. I also tried my own experimental thing with combination blow, renewal and something else for protection to try replacing inmost and spam abilities even more but it's too situational to feel comfortable and consistent across the board. I would probably like playing prismatic warlock more than hunter if not for their jump and the fact that I never really played it so I have nothing for it. I just like their nades and supers more. I would also love for other classes to have something as powerful as concentration but also less annoying to use. Titans are the best for all the hard content rn imo but I dislike their nades and jump and their supers are not cool as the nova bomb.

I wouldn't bother we already are getting frost armor from orbs and losing grapples reduces woven mail up time quite a bit

@@lazykb if you have mods like orbs of resto + recoup + grenade kickstart, and you have 2x arc siphon to generate orbs with the ergo sum you can get your nades back pretty much instantly. (I can send the build link in replies if you wanna see my build that’s similar)

You're right. But it's an easy way to describe what happens to casual people. And it leads to an acceptable understanding, that the more DR you have the less an additional source will contribute

@@lazykb But that's also not true. Let's say you have 100 HP and 0% DR, the enemies will need 100 DMG to kill you. Now let's add 20% DR to that 100 HP, the enemies will now need 125 DMG to kill you (125 - 20% = 100). So they need 25 DMG more than before. Now let's add ANOTHER 20% DR, so 40% DR, to that 100 HP, the enemies will now need 166,6 DMG to kill you (166.6 - 40% = 100). So they need ~41 DMG more than before EVEN THOUGH you added the same amount of DR you did before. That's the exact opposite of diminishing returns, the more DR you have the MORE an additional source will contribute. 100 HP + 0% DR = 100 DMG needed 100 HP + 20% DR = 125 DMG needed 100 HP + 40% DR = 166.6 DMG needed Extreme example: 100 HP + 99% DR = 10,000 DMG needed (10,000 - 99% = 100)
