You noticed well, I think this is the most mainstream directed project of the bladee and the most commercial, it is worth noting that the music videos on Drama and God are like the first big budget videos of the bladee. All Bladee projects this year are lighter and happier, simpler and more understandable texts, the transition to some kind of EDM music component and the direction to expand the audience in general. So Bladee is very mainstream this year and this is definitely a good year for him, 3 projects in a year, he was very productive considering his absence from last release Icedancer at the end of 2018. When you listen to old Bladee projects, you will notice a huge difference in production and execution. Bladee had dark and depressing lyrics, technological, atmospheric, raw and eerie instrumentals with echoes of ambient, but all those old beats are still hard asf. You definitely need to get to his old releases, so that what path has been done and how the artist's creative path has changed.

Yea it’s def very pop oriented. I can sort of get why people don’t like it, but I really like the switch up personally. It has some extremely catchy hooks and the poppiness of the production is just enough to keep it interesting while is making too cheesy or too try hard to go mainstream. It feels very natural personally

333 was nothing like this horrible piece of blasphemy and i highly doubt it was mainstream oriented. It sure was lighter than old bladee but these lyrics are deeper than any other bladee album out there. Bladee's music is not just music, it's a message. And if you refuse to get the message only because of its musical wrapping then bladee is not your choice. Just go read them lyrics and you will get the vibe of 333. And then go read Good Luck lyrics which are like 90s pop songs about love and feel the difference. 333 is Eversince of new bladee and this new pop shit is nothing like it.

@@no-sq2pn Music's message doesn't only come in the words man. Listen to some jazz and classical music and hear all that they are saying musically. This project is so much more than its lyrics and you are really missing out on its unique genius by expecting it to be the same as all his past projects. Mechatok also has equal credit on the album, it is clearly not a solo Bladee project so don't expect it to sound like a solo bladee project.

I didn't like it, he just dropped that trap element, something that I think he's done for a couple projects. I feel like he dropped the element people like the most on the instrumentals. That bubbly atmospheric sound mixed with the hard trap sounds. That mixed with his flow and voice on autotune is what made it. But without the right drums it just sounds out of place. Drama was good. Couldn't thoroughly enjoy it though. Not like Icedancer or Red light.
