Echo has so many meanings. Yes Maya is the character Echo. She has “echo” powers where she repeats “abilities” gifted to her by her ancestors. But Maya is also Wilson Fisk’s echo. So hyped

Their strength echoes through you.” I can’t send links on here but you can look it up, it’s more descriptive than that. Also idk how deep you’re in in MCU news/rumors/scoops but something that seems to add up is that Maya has magical tattoos and each time Maya rediscovers her past, she gains a new power. So that’s something different.

She's always been a dope character since her debut (another Brian Michael Bendis creation that's found fame). I got to love Echo by reading her introduction in Daredevil comics. She is my favorite of Matt Murdock's many girlfriends. She was the original Ronin who Hawkeye took the mantle over from. Not sure if she's gotten her own comics run yet, but the character has... let's say grown in power in recent years. Maya even has connections to Captain Marvel, Moon Knight, the Avengers, and the X-Men, and I wouldn't be at all surprised if this show takes the path of making her a mutant like they did with Ms. Marvel.

First thing to note, TV-MA. The reason Kingpin feels more Netflix Kingpin is partly because this series is TV-MA. Second thing, all 5 episodes are being released at the same time, no weekly wait, just binge. Also seems like you missed Daredevil at 1:27 of the trailer and 3:46 of this video.

I found it so weird that all the outlets and "insiders" called this show a failure, this trailer is really really well put and peaked my interest like nothing else since Daredevil. I'm still puzzled as to why they would also dump every episode day one, not complaining but sounds like they don't have much faith in the show and it's coming like early January too. I hope its good cause this is exactly the type of flair, theme I want from my Marvel shows: gritty, grounded and heavy like the Netflix Marvel shows were.
