I love the table decoration! This recipe reminds me of one my granny and mom used to make called gritted bread. It's very simple, though, just corn that you grind to almost mush and some flour. Mix together and bake until the edges are golden. I serve it hot with butter.

Looks good. Update on the prayer request from yesterday, the golfers. The one guy is home and doing well, he thought his friend had passed because he😮 called the ICU unit and because he is not family they just told him that he wasn't there so he was thinking that he passed but after he was discharged he went back to the hospital and the guy did make it he was on a ventilator but they took him off and he is breathing on his own, he now responds to touch, he has swelling on his brain, prayers still needed. Thanks so much.

That looks good. You mentioned about corn casserole being sweet. The recipe everyone in my family uses isn't. My niece calls it Christmas Corn because of the pimento and bell pepper. Corn Casserole 2 cans cream style corn 1 cup cracker crumbs 1 onion chopped 1 small jar pimento 1/4 cup melted butter 2 Tbs. sugar 2 tsp. salt 1 egg, beaten 1 green pepper chopped 1 cup grated velveeta Pepper to taste Combine all ingredients. Cook in 2 quart casserole dish at 400 for 1 hour until golden brown.

They have a commercial meat bird farm. They raise birds for I think Sam’s Club. Part of their contract says they can’t have any other birds on the property for fear of cross contamination of an illness that could wipe out entire chicken houses.
