I got asked that when I went for an x-ray. I burst out laughing then said I would've picked a better face and body than the one I have. Initially the poor woman looked embarrassed for asking then smiled when I said that. I'm in my 60s.

Yesterday, I was at the store in the feminine hygiene isle. There is a company named "August" that makes tampons, and on the box, it said that the product was for "anyone who menstruates." Literally made me sick to my stomach.

Register a formal complaint with the head of the school and local authority and your MP. Share your story with other parents at the school and find out if the same has happened to them. If so, get them to do the same. This would be the very beginning.

I do not think that it is general doctors...It is the policy makers and administrators above them in the hospital. General doctor needs to follow the rules, no matter how very mad they find them and how against the best practice. They just roll their eyes for all this nonsense and rush to take care of their patients. It is a different story with doctors who specialise gender affirming care. They are monsters.

I trained to be a counselor for over 3 years. With any other presentation of distress, the idea that you would tell someone that all their life problems would go away if they just changed their outside appearance would be deemed as unprofessional, unethical, and insane. It's estimated that 40% of these young people are on the spectrum and therefore have higher instances of bullying, trauma dysmorphia, and other comorbidities including self-harm and suicidality, they are being sold a dream that they will be fixed once they change gender and its a lie, they feel different because they are neurologically different. I wonder if any of these doctors are specialists in neurodiversity or are like my G.P. who thinks "everyone is on the spectrum."

My local county hospital has Not told the sex of the baby to the parents and leaves it untill the actual birth , Hereford County , their reasons being a girl could be terminated in favour of boys. They have been doing this for over a decade , i had thought all hospitals did this now. I was told mine was a girl on my early scan twenty years ago there - is this not unfair to parents ?
