In the Quran, verse 78:8 of Surah An-Naba states, “And We have created you in pairs”. This verse refers to the creation of men and women. In the Quran, verse 49:13 of Surah Al-Hujurat states, “O mankind, indeed We have created you from male and female”. This verse refers to the creation of nations and tribes. The phrase implies that humans are meant to find companionship and connect with one another. This video is a bit of a contradiction. Creation wouldn't exist without Adam and Eve. As-salamu alaykum dear brothers and sisters, Let me clarify the purpose of this video to avoid any misunderstanding, as I’ve noticed some confusion. This message is not against marriage-it’s about trusting Allah’s wisdom when love feels distant. Marriage is a beautiful Sunnah, and Allah Himself says: “And We created you in pairs” (Quran 78:8). The Prophet ﷺ taught us: “Whoever marries has completed half of their faith” . But sometimes, Allah delays what we desire to protect us from harm, refine our hearts, or prepare us for what’s truly best. The video’s purpose is to highlight that when Allah delays or redirects certain relationships, it is out of divine protection-not deprivation. Allah says: “And among His signs is that He created for you spouses from yourselves so that you may find tranquility in them…” (Quran 30:21). However, the video cautions against relationships outside marriage, which often lead to spiritual harm. The Prophet ﷺ warned: “No man is alone with a woman except that Satan is the third”. Such bonds risk distancing us from Allah’s mercy. If marriage feels delayed, remember Allah’s promise: “And whoever relies upon Allah-Allah will be sufficient for them” (Quran 65:3). What seems like a trial today may prepare you for a spouse who strengthens your faith tomorrow. For those awaiting marriage, use this time to deepen your connection with Allah, grow in patience, and make sincere dua. Ask Allah for a spouse who becomes “the coolness of your eyes,” as described in the Quran: “Our Lord, grant us spouses and offspring who comfort our eyes, and make us a model for the righteous” (25:74). And Beware of cultural practices that contradict Islam-racism, excessive dowries, or caste systems. The Prophet ﷺ said: “If someone with good faith and character proposes, marry them. If you refuse, you risk corruption on Earth” Let us pray: “Ya Allah, grant us spouses who are best for our faith, our world, and our hereafter. Protect us from haram, and bless us with contentment in Your decree. Aameen.” and remember, marriage is a blessing to seek with purity and trust in Allah’s plan. BarakAllahu feekum!

Why does this generation (I am part of it) make duas for marriage for a specific person. It's better to make a general dua for marriage. Ask Allah to give you this person if they are good for you and keep them away if they're bad for you. Make istikhara as well, that being said, I'll say Ameen only if they are good for you, and may Allah make it easy for you.

Aslamu Alaikum. It really helps, to reduce and gradually stop listening to music which has lyrics which objectify women. Or any lovey-dovey songs. We’re what we listen to, read and watch ect. Giving up listening to music in general, is really difficult. But at least we can start by listening to the same songs without the explicit lyrics (instrumental). I use to do that with 50 Cent songs. Alhamdulila with the help of Ramadan, I was able to quit my hobby of listening to music. Alhamdulila! they’re so many vocal only nasheed artists now, which sound like “music”. 🤩 May Allah swt, help you on your journey Ameen.
