If you intend to pick up on it any time soon, now is the time, Black Rock Shooter collab patch rolls out literally tomorrow! Speaking of “choreography” in boss fights, there’s one that really feels like a dance, and it’s the “Merciful One”/Unearthly Projection. Also there’s a specific game mode that returns every now and then that changes existing bosses’ move sets and makes them significantly harder, and those feel really nice too, but only after you finally figure them out, before that they’re such a pain. :D

It is quite sad people misses pgr due to two things, one lack of advertizing, and second is the boring early game.

That and the fact the game only almost only has combat events and the sidestory section of the game is a total mess if u want to line them up with the main story.

It's also kinda the bastard cousin of HI3rd since it came out not long after as is really in many ways the second of its kind in mobile games. Always in the shadow it seems.

The first video u watched definitely was recorded on mobile considering how bad the audio was. The PC version of the game is quite good and very enjoyable as is the music. I myself prefer Wuthering Waves since all the lessons they they learned from PGR's combat are applied very well in that game. The Black Rock Shooter collab is out on Global and while i have't watched the anime in years i'm definitely gonna dive back in the game just to see how they did this.

Actually the audio in the first video isn't bad, in the original video it sounds fine but in this video, he make the audio quality a lil bad I think to avoid copyright

This is THE combat gacha game. Its not too difficult, but it has a very high skill ceiling, and looks amazing when u do it right, it generally will not look like this when u play. Check out the crimson weave vs mother structure perfect parry fight too, the triple parries are divine. Also, BRS, tbe free character is an A rank, basically a 4 star but u can farm out some 5 star constructs for free. It also has one of the best gacha systems on the market. Btw, also check out the songque and vita boss fights in HI3rd too. Tbh some of the best fights ive played mechanically, musically and as a spectacle. Interestingly, it and maybe ToT are only global hoyo games rn without a 50/50. Also highly recommend the animated shorts if ur into music and spectacle.

I think Kuro does make games that "don't feel like gacha" because they're really well made and put the gaming experience first.

You should also check out fights showcasing Babel tower max risk wherein bosses are given unique mechanics and buffs so you can see how hardcore boss fights in Babel towers are. Bosses there are also crazily tanky and strong. They can easily 2 shot your characters.

Would be nice to see you react to "Vonnegut Boss Fight + Ending" by Narushio. It doesn't demonstrate perfect gameplay (by which I mean No DMG and Perfect Parry runs) but it does good job at showing every attack the boss has (well, almost, I think there is one that is missing). I think you will enjoy it, one of the most epic PGR boss fights for sure (and the best one in my opinion but I guess not many would agree)

Sone things to watch from PGR . Fenrir boss fight is pretty cinematic and have wery nice ost [in my opinion] . Also PGR classic ost Exorcism in Lithos Boss fight .

You will see in that video an aerial combo that Alpha does! Andright after watch Punishing: Gray Raven (CN) - Alpha CW Leap Beta Gameplay Kuro literally took the fan art combo and put it in the game! Since I started the special category, you can also react to Two Flowers by Snowdrop ! That is a "what if PGR was an anime" And it is fire! The game OST's are awesome too!(i don tthink there is a bad OST in PGR but i am still trying to keep myself away from the ones that are only released in CN)!
