I 100% agree with the Tails awareness. I've noticed that the other three get so much attention. I just… Shadow and Knuckles? They’re typically some of the least compatible in the franchise, but I do understand the movie versions are different. I just can’t imagine any version of Shadow dealing with a powerful goof like movie Knuckles. And they generally have little to no interaction in the games or comics- the most I’ve seen them interact is in the frickin Wrath of Nazo Act 2 animatic. And that’s fan made. Do you know about the IDW Prequill?(Yes its spelled like that) Its an prequel comic with, i think, 3 issues that tells what each character did prior to the second movie, from the top of my head Sonic the the protagonist of the first, Tails is the second and i think the third Robotnick. On the second issue Tails get the comic all to himself and it explains how Tails: discovered Sonic through his fight with Eggman on the first movie, tracked down Sonic energy with his tech, and used many portal rings to jump from world to world eventualy arriving on earth, the comic ends on the same scene Tails is introduced on the movie. Its a nice complementary piece of media, but while i would love if Paramout were to adapt it, its way too short for it to be actually worth it, so i think a series about Tails being his own hero could be a little more substantial. But incase you really want to know movie Tails's backstory, idw got you covered

I think Knuckles and Shadow series sounds awesome. I also do agree with you that I think Tails also deserves a spinoff as wells. So, I think we need to start things off with a Shadow focus movie where he forms Team Dark (acting like the Sonic version of the Suicide Squad) and goes against Black Doom in a Black Arms Earth invasion, adapting from the Shadow 2005 game. Sonic Cinematic Universe Outline: The Chaotix (series): Adapts elements from Knuckles Chaotix and more smaller scale. Shadow the Hedgehog (movie): Forms Team Dark and fights the Black Arms from invading Earth and goes agains Black Doom while learning more about Shadow’s past. Sonic 4 (movie): adapts elements from both Sonic CD and Heroes where it introduces Amy and Metal Sonic. Then in the finale, Metal Sonic becomes Metal Overlord.
