Oh and if you thought THIS was a bad Thanksgiving horror, check out "Thankskilling" - it's a very low budget movie about a (deformed? maybe just ugly) Turkey that kills people on Thanksgiving. The sequel - Thankskilling 3* - is even worse lol. *There is no Thankskilling 2

Not the same scene but there are a few horror movies that have used projectors before this, notably Sinister and It (2017). There are also some slashers that have used similar scenes. Scream 2 begins with a scene in a movie theater where the first victim climbs up on stage before dying there’s also a scene where someone watches as another character gets stranded in a sound booth and scream 2 also ends in a scene on stage with theatre sfx. It’s got a lot of them lol. The most recent scream movie scream 6 ended with a final killing while a projector flashed over it, but that movie came out after this one. The exact scene has not been done and is actually pretty cool. It seems pretty inspired by all the scream 2 scenes

i remember this movie, i worked in a theater when it released. a group of teens bought tickets for another movie then tried to get into this one (couldnt get the tickets seeing as they werent 17+), buuuut no one attended that showing so the screen was turned off lol. they left after that edit: it was actually a different horror thanksgiving movie! the concepts so specific i thought there could only be one lol

As a non-American, I find the whole Thanksgiving thing so weird because it's a holiday based on lies? Like, the natives did not "share" all their food and shelter all happy-friendly-like with the pilgrims...you guys are celebrating that you murdered them and STOLE that stuff from them. But it seems MOST American history taught in AMerican school is just made up. Like, is it true Americans are taught that WW2 was won because of them? 'Cause the US actually joined in YEARS AFTER every other country, only helped a little bit, at the end of the war, and then claim all credit?
