I live in the UK, and after watching your posts and updates, an American Facebook friend was saying her dog wasn't eating, and listless but otherwise seemed ok. I mentioned your videos, and she took her pup to the vet, and the vet said the dog had a bad upper respiratory tract infection, and had she left it much longer, it might not have been a good outcome. So, believe me, from across the world, your videos saved another dog in the US, and you have nothing to apologise for. Edit: unfortunately one of her dogs did not make it, but the other dog did, and recovering nicely. She is spreading the word stateside. Your videos are never in vain.

Agreed. We’ve all been there with animals we love and I can’t even imagine having so many dogs fall I’ll at once. I was actually glad to know something was up. There was a huge dog event in Portland I plan to take mine to that the Saturday after this was happening. He’s already got some health so just to be safe I opted to not got. Hi Lee, just saw your video. You needn't apologize for anything as we are not so thin skinned. Your grief was readily apparent, shared, and ANYONE who has a meaning and loving relationship with their pups already knows. Those that don't do not deserve to have pups or otherwise. You've honorably done the best that you and your team could for your pups in need, so do not crucify yourself. I lost 2 Goldens and a Lab in one year alone - the pain is tremendous. I don't believe anyone worth their salt would take issue or bad mouth you or your team for the impact you all sustain every day. Good manners say you apologize, you did, so move on. In your transparency, it encourages others to have the courage to be real and share what is really going on - what they might be walking through. There is no need for apologies. If we were facing what you were going through with this hitting extremely hard and you just lost a special dog that you love without any warning. Plus, all at once, more dogs were coming down with this unknown upper respiratory illness, and Lady was in a life death decision on top of it. Who wouldn't be scared or panicking? You all were being bombarded on all sides, and it was impacting dogs outside of your rescue. It was scary for everyone. You did the best you could in this situation that would impact anyone who loves dogs as deeply as you, the vets, etc, do. You all are greatly loved, prayed for and supported. Keep being you. Keep being real and transparent. It helps all of us who are facing challenging or scary situations know we aren't alone and it's alright to be human.
