I'm really glad that you were empathetic toward their situation from the start of the video to the end. It disgusts me that there are people out there willing to twist their words just to favor their own groups, even though they clearly didn’t take a minute to watch the whole live stream. All they want to see and hear is what suits their narrative, and it's frustrating how misinformation spreads so easily when people only focus on their own bias. This kind of behavior just shows how unwilling they are to understand the full picture.

1. It seems to be an attempt to express their own will. The relationship within the company would have already been disconnected when CEO Min Hee-jin was dismissed and pro-HYBE directors took over. 2. It will feel completely different from the NJ we knew so far. Also, it may be hard to see them REALLY smiling and performing on stage anymore. If ADOR's original structure is restored, it will of course improve, but they will still have to continue to fight against HYBE's attacks. 3. Most of the fans overseas are BTS fans, so they will take a pro-HYBE stance. Ultimately, I think overseas fans will lose a lot. It was extraordinary. This is a very drastic step, it shows that they feel very unhappy at the moment. Their relationship with HYBE is arguably at a low point. 2. It seems they see MHJ as indispensable to their identity as NewJeans (something that might be true, but I am also wary of, I must say). Restoring the original structures probably will restore the group's confidence in their future and work, but it's hard to envision such a scenario - HYBE won't, most likely, give in. 3. There are probably several aspects. I think there will be fans who will feel a stronger bond with the group and remain steadfast in supporting/defending them. A part of the fandom may be put off by the members' relationship with MHJ and their loyalty to her, which has become apparent more than ever with the live. Fans of other HYBE artists may hate on them - actually many do - because they see MHJ's statements and actions as an attack against their groups. Reactions vary beyond the HYBE sphere. I have seen critical voices, but also support for the girls. All this will most likely lead to complications. HYBE is powerful and should have ample possibilities to use their power to punish NewJeans - if they want. The situation is not ideal for NewJeans, I'm afraid to say.

I think the girls ARE VERY BRAVE for speaking up. I hate that people portray them as spoiled entitled girls, like, no? They worked hard for this and for the place where they are, along with the company that helped them along the way. Even before this entire controversy, you can see in both NewJeans’ and other HYBE artists’ social media that NJ rarely collaborates with other HYBE artists for promo and have notably been excluded from congratulatory posts by Chairman Bang Sihyuk. Hanni’s situation of being ignored was probably just a notable example of their toxic workplace environment and a concrete incident she can actually recount. Not being told “hello” is vastly different than having upper management going out of their way to exclude you. We unfortunately can’t tell what’s happening behind the scenes, but I find it odd and suspicious that so little HYBE artists collaborated with NewJeans even before this entire thing blew up.

In a standard contract, a grace period of 14 days may be given for party A or B to rectify what either party sees as a breech of contract. If it doesn't get resolved in that 14 days, they can terminate or cancel the contract AND claim damages. If NewJeans has this type of contract, I think this is what they are doing this for. The crazy thing is, they aren't even asking for much. They're not asking for more money, more cb's etc. They just want Ador restored to it's former state. Also, MHJ just filed for an injunction to reinstate her as CEO and she gave fake Ador till November 5th to have their shareholder's meeting to do so. So I don't know how that affects what the girls are planning here. Hybe already put out a statement basically saying that they will not comply with the girl's demands. So we'll have to see how this all plays out. On another note, I read somewhere that those texts weren't even about the girls. She was actually talking about Hybe management. But I can't find where I read that. It's been a few months. Thank you for your reaction. I appreciate you 🙏

honestly refreshing to hear a more supportive perspective of the actual members. I feel like I'm taking crazy pills see how many people are defending HYBE (a megacorp in a shady industry where sketchy treatment of idols has been rampant) and not the actual young people at the center of all this madness. the stan culture is sick and rotten from the inside especially on social media and it seems it overrides basic empathy. but yeah, that has been infuriating and the media play and disinformation campaign against the girls has been very obvious, I hope they make it through this situation and can remain healthy, it must be a lot of stress and mental wear on them no matter which path they chose.

I want to tell you about NJs MVs How Sweet and Supernatural. Yes the storyline in those aren't what we used to. But what we can see is that in How Sweet. NewJeans are "the ugly ducklings". Many of their MVs is about Hybe. And NewJeans see themselves as the ugly ducklings in HYBE. In the MV you'll see them from different POVs. Just like the story about ugly duckling. And in the end of MV, they walk forward and take the place that the ducks in the MV had. In Supernatural they are aliens. Once again outsiders. In ETA and ASAP there are references to Hybe in lyrics and MV. Some say they even call for help in ASAP. When it comes to whats going on now. Hybe planned this since the beginning of 2023. They used five young girls(Illit) to set the whole plan in work. Why do you think Illit looked so similar to NewJeans? Choreo. The famous Attention foto. They also have a lot of youtubers and social media people who just do hate content about MHJ and NewJeans. The girls will be fine. But they will leave Hybe. That's their plan. And some say that they just have to change name, but they can keep songs. I don't know if that's true. And one more thing. Ditto and OMG MVs. You could say that they are against the whole kpop industry. And do you think BSH(hybe) liked that. No. So what have they done. They kicked MHJ and Shin Wooseok. And they wanted to erase everything with Ditto. Like Ban Heesoo. Take care.

If hybe doesn’t bring back the original ador by the 25th, there is a big possibility that newjeans will try to terminate their contracts with them, hence the ultimatum. honestly since they experienced all of these without us knowing, there’s probably a lot more shitty things hybe have done to them that they are willing to risk their careers just to expose them. personally, i’d want them to leave hybe and just redebut. it’s better than being harassed, bullied and be isolated in a company that does not gaf about u. And i just want to clarify smth, mhj did not badmouth nwjns. those texts were fabricated and wasn’t confirmed to be true. it was maliciously edited by hybe’s puppets to paint mhj bad to the public but fortunately korea can’t be deceived. Unfortunately I feel like ILLIT is a replacement for Newjeans. When they first came out I was excited for a new girl group but at the same time it felt like it was too soon for a new girl group since Newjeans was already accomplishing so much and their fan base started to get bigger and Le sserafim was also getting a bigger fan base aswell. I also noticed that some of ILLIT dance choreography had Newjeans choreography in It and it was very noticeable since a lot new jeans choreo is really popular and easy to spot. There was definitely some things that were being rushed when It came to new jeans, I also thought that hybe main focus was going to be on Newjeans and Le sserafim since they were basically the main big girl groups at the time coming from hybe. Unfortunately with everything going on hybe is promoting auditions which to me shows that they really don't care about the situation. This is really heartbreaking for me because I was one of the ones who didn't like K-pop and thought it was weird until one day in 2022 spotify suggested ditto to me and I instantly became a fan of Newjeans😂….because of them I now love K-pop I even took the time to learn about different groups starting all the way from first generation. I get that you yourself care only about the music, but the premise of my comment is that, based on the company's complete ownership of NJ, even going with a slightly different concept under another company will likely face legal hurdles. I highly doubt any label would even want to take that risk. This is why I believe more than ever now that debuting Illit was a strategic move by Hybe. They could now completely remove everyone associated with NJ and replace them with something almost identical. I have a really bad feeling that we're going to see less and less of NJ until their contracts finally expire and they are disbanded.

I felt really bad about what Hanni said about the makeup room story and being told by supposedly Illit's manager to ignore her. Then I learned that this happened MONTHS ago while MHJ was still in the CEO role. So I'm assuming this was BEFORE Ador got a new CEO. So then I ask myself, why didn't MHJ do anything about it at the time? 2. Did Hanni stretch the truth to gain sympathy from her fans? 3. Or did Hybe lie about the timeline at which this incident occurred? This is what sucks bout this whole situation. Who's lying, who's telling the truth? Hybe has already stated that they won't give in to NewJeans demands of letting MHJ take back control as CEO of Ador so I'm assuming NewJeans will take legal action on September 25th so they can get out of their contract and officially disband. If they decided to continue as a group elsewhere, they won't be able to use anything in their past, it'll be wiped clean and they won't be able to use the NewJeans name. That all belongs to Hybe now. This whole situation is messy and it sucks.

This situation is so sad all around. I’m afraid this is the end of Newjeans because Hybe is too powerful and could keep them on hiatus until their contract is up or else they’d have to pay hundreds of millions, plus no label is going to trust the girls after they went behind their label’s back and did this. I understand Newjeans felt the need to speak out, but I’m not sure what they expected to happen by threatening and demanding things from their company. No way will they ever actually make MHJ CEO again so I guess they were hoping Hybe would just let them leave but I don’t think they will let that happen easily. Ultimately the public is going to side with Hybe because of BTS. I wish the girls had contacted a lawyer or had more adults they trusted in their lives…it’s sad that MHJ is the hill they and their parents are willing to die on and the relationship between them does not sound healthy if they feel so dependent on her. Between this and fifth fifty it makes me realize how little resources and support these artists have behind the scenes if they feel the need to do something like this. They are still so young and should have been protected and guided better than doing something like this which could very likely be career ending. I am so sad for what they have been through and think they deserve so much better❤

How Sweet MV theory and lyrics was true. They have given HYBE an ultimatum till the 25th September to re-employ MHJ.... i don't know the actual ins and out but i believe its basically the 14 days requirement before they can go forth with legal proceedings.... I think they want HYBE to terminate their contracts and will try and get this done through the courts if HYBE are found out for breach of contract or something like that then they can get out of their contracts without paying.. i think thats what it is... of course the saddest part is I cannot see HYBE losing and this only makes matters worse for the girls... i dunno what they were trying to acheive here and i think MHJ is BEHIND IT... MHJ probably got the director and told newjeans not to tell any other 'adults' or anyone else because she knew any adult would have told newjeans this was a terrible idea. Newjeans have shown a naivety here and its expected as they are so young and probably have little real world experience.. i was crying when i watched this too.. and i never cry

Also, something that is not mentioned was BTS Jungkook's post from his dog's Instagram account since he deleted/deactivated his personal account. Jungkook posted 5 hearts with a caption saying "Don't use them" or something along those lines. Assuming his support of NewJeans but not Min Hee Jin as he feels that MHJ is just using NewJeans for her own personal gains at this point.. People are assuming that the 5 hearts represent his love for NewJeans and the "Don't use them" part was directed at MHJ. Unfortunately Danielle replied with the same 5 hearts that JK used but then added a baseball cap emoji at the end which people are assuming, NewJeans + MHJ. A slight knock at JK's attempt at supporting NewJeans. This whole rogue video they made and that post Danielle made is not a good look for them.

A lot of people are failing to understand where the girls are coming from and it's rather infuriating. They've been placed in the care of mhj and subsequently groomed by her ever since they were 12-15 years old, away from their parental watch and often overworked to a great extent (as seen from reports). Mhj made them believe that without her they'd be nothing and that was further solidified in their brains when the moment she was released from her duties they were being subjected to bullying, leaked personal records and general mismanagement.

I feel like if my current project manager who hired me at my current job was aggressively pushed out and I was catching flak because of it I would just quit the job. Its not worth the stress.
