I've just seen an older video of Noah saying that he likes when a band has songs with different vibes, because he can listen to the band with any mood he is in. I always get images in my head when listening to music. This song makes me see a man sitting in low light in a leather chair holding a glass of Hennessey just thinking back on the stupid and bad things he has done in the past and the woman he did them for. Reading your comment made me remember something when I first heard this song. Made me think of a man sat in his house, in a rocking chair with a bottle of beer in one hand and a cigarette in the other, watching his life on a projector screen. Just reminiscing about his life, the stupid, the good, the bad decisions he made throughout his life and the nostalgia he feel watching his life pass him by.
