Hey Andy, you make such great, thought provoking vids, hunting for conservation Your reflections of the insignificance of man in the greater theatre of nature, your appreciation of God's creation & the necessity for man to accept responsibility for caring for this creation, makes sense to those who are enlightened enough to understand, accept & support conservation Great show my friend 👍👍👍

Great video as always. I know all too well the feeling of "wounded and lost" with Cape buffalo; I wounded a bull on my first buffalo safari. We looked for him for 4 1/2 days and never found him. Even though we hunters know that we will eventually wound an animal that we will not recover, it is a terrible feeling nonetheless when it happens.

Mindless talk. Terrible pain of the wounded animal you do not bother at all.

Those really big bored are impressive. But I prefer a caliber that brings my second back to target sooner. I’ve had two PAC buffalo charges that resulted in charges in less than 15’. Once the second shot from my double .375 stopped it at 8’ after my first shot hit above the left eye as it quartered into me at 15’. Last year my 450-400 31/4 stopped it on the first shot while running towards it at 10’. PH’s only shot from .470 missed the brain and was able to reacquire in time stop it. Barrel would have been a foot away from point of aim, time was gone. My small bores only recoil about 12” from point of aim.

a left handed shooter with a right handed rifle and poss zeroed for the right handed person NOT a good zeroing combination ! see him shoot a group on a paper target first ? only then go hunting !
@waynemensen42522 жыл бұрын
I'm a left handed shooter, that shoots several right handed rifles off of sticks and prone. I don't have to even move my trigger hand and can cycle the bolt with my right hand, as the support hand is not needed on sticks, bipods or from prone off my pack. It's quite accurate and super fast on follow up shots!

It's not people hunt for the love of animals and if u don't like it why watch it hunting helps animals by controlling population and the hunting indestry in zimbabwe raises a lot of money for antipoaching so without hunting there would be less animals than with hunting
