One of the most difficult parts of starting tsugaru shamisen, is the high-cost of a futozao tsugaru shamisen itself!
And many of the more affordable shamisen available online are of low quality, or a very soft wood that is likely to wear down quickly.
So for this shamisen, we have focused on a quality product, using African Karin for a beautiful sound, and a beginner shamisen that will last you for years!
We have also arranged it as a full set, and used a synthetic skin so that you do not need to worry about replacing the skin as often as a regular Tsugaru shamisen!
We hope that this will help you get your start in playing Tsugaru Shamisen without having to deal with all of the high costs that can be prohibitive at the beginning!

I'm in the exact same boat dude! I recently found out about this and I love the sound. I tuned my guitar to sound like a shamisen (C, G, C on the highest 3 strings) but I have currently changed that to (C#, G#, C#) like how they have it in their videos.
