The Portugese cut diamond ring is beautiful, and although I love the setting, I have heard that it can be vulnerable to snapping off, if not "handled with care" or if it's hit hard accidently. I wonder if it would look just as lovely with a cathedral setting instead? I do agree though - it is gorgeous, but I'd just worry a bit.. 🤔🙂

Wow simply stunning. I had a bad house fire and I lost my wedding ring. The fire took just away just about everything that I loved. I then found out we didn't have insurance. I got engaged to my High-school sweetheart at the age of 17 and got married at 20 and had a beautiful wedding. This April I will be celebrating my 24th wedding anniversary and my finger is bare. I told my husband that my ring meant alot to me but we live pay check to paycheck and bring a ring right now isn't possible but maybe he will surprise me with one in April 🩷💍

I got married in 2005 and have a tulip setting except there are diamonds in the tulips. It was called a rose setting back then and it's a 4 prong instead of 6. It's still my favorite (but probably more because I'm married to my favorite guy) 😊
