We stumbled across your videos about a fortnight ago and have been blown away. Each night my 13 year old unicyclist son & I look forward to watching half an hour or so of your travels. We are still 'in Kazakhstan' but so excited that you're now in SA (we live in the Adelaide Hills but have family on the Eyre peninsula do know that camping in the desert feeling). In this crazy stormy weather we've been wondering about you and your camp, checking your progress when it appears. Although you're alone and it's been tough, know so many people out there are thinking of you, obviously friends but also strangers whose lives you've touched. You are an absolute inspiration. Thank you for your wonderful stories!!! We'd love to meet you, so please contact us if you'd like a welcome in Adelaide.

Got to be careful, eating a can that dented & rusty can leave you dead let alone sick and when out alone, its a big risk.
@xxwookey7 жыл бұрын
Lots of people here worried about can safety. OK, it's _possible_ but really, how often does can-poisoning actually happen, when the contents is beans? If it's still airtight it should be OK.
@nickc30537 жыл бұрын
The beans are irrelevant. Its the can thats the issue and Clostridium botulinium is a fatal toxin, you wont necessarily see or smell it in the food and if the can is severely dented and rusty, then it could produce slight rips in the seam of the lid. Its just not worth the risk especially when youre out alone in a vast country with probably seldom by-passers.
