There are many times when we are moved or excited when we see a movie or something and we want to be immersed in this feeling again. But if you watch it before the months have passed, you cannot go back to the feeling you had the first time you saw it. But I can't go back to the feeling of seeing it for the first time when I see it before the month is out. Of course, there is a big difference between knowing what is going on ahead and seeing it without knowing. But... there is one way to see the excitement again that makes up for the difference. It is a very important thing for people to have empathy. When you watch a work with someone who is watching it for the first time, you may not have cried even when you saw it for the first time, but when the person you are with is moved to tears, for some reason you become emotionally involved and even if you could watch the work without crying, you cry. I said we'd watch it together, but it's not absolutely necessary to watch it with someone real, such as a lover or friend. You can easily see the effect of that on a KZbin reactor. However... certain conditions are necessary for emotional involvement. The first is someone who has similar values, which is an absolute requirement. please watch "weathering with you" as it is also set up in the same universe as your name and with same director(Makoto Shinkai). And you'll also get some special cameos on that movie. After that you should watch "a silent voice", "I want to eat your pancreas", "suzume(makoto shinkai's most recent movie)" , these all are really great movies and worth watching every second, so give it a shot. Also this is my first time watching your reaction and I really liked it. Looking forward to your next reactions.

This was a very nice movie! Anime movie, yes, but still a movie 😌 It was very well animated, but more importantly, it has an even better storyline. I liked very much that since the beginning you have not a clear image of the situation, but that doesn't ruin your enjoyment, it only grow expectations. They grow expectations until the moment of clarification, when the guy discover that the city the girl lived in was destroyed 3 years ago. From that moment of clarification things continue to develop, but still other details come cleared. Then at the end skips to 5 years later, all already happened, nothing can change, but they see each other faces, they romantically met, without even knowing each other name (that part to me was a little over, more of a fan favourite, probably because I was more interested in the physics behind it all). The part I liked more was the way they worked with a local believe (myth? Legend?), without making a fantasy anime that totally breaks our world's rule. Sure, physically some things that happens in the show aren't possible, but there are more like little breakpoints in a generally realistic movie (I talk about time and space physics, not about the characters interchange). To make an example: -they had this change of personality/character with a 3 years delay in time, but when they discover it they start to forget it, things that prove it start disappearing. Leaving it as something mythical, inexplicable, something that let the world's rule be the same after it happened. Another thing I liked very much is that the entire film keeps you engaged even without moving from the main plot, it was very well done! -S class Analyzer

Loved this movie when I first saw it ... I was like damnnn ... From this movie i started my anime journey so nostalgic for me... Great reaction by the way ... That's why Japanese anime movie is so much better than Hollywood cartoon movies. The animation is more realistic, the target audience is not always meant for kids but for young adults and up. And you are absolutely right in watching on the movie screen and it's worth the high movie ticket price.

In Japan, it is commonly known that girls cut their hair because they are having broken heart so that's why MItsuha's friends were so surprised to see her shortened hair and that suggests Mitsuha set Taki's date but she also realized she loves him.
