War in Bosnia was not a civil war. War that other countries take part in is not civil war, it was planned aggression of Serbia and partly Croatia on Bosnia. Another thing is that most of Bosnian Serbs and Bosnian Croats chose sides of the aggressors. A lot of Bosnian Serbs and Bosnian Croats fought alongside Bosniaks in resistance - defending their country within legal Bosnian Army that won thankfully. Even Croat and Serb leaders that chose to organize resistance in favour of preserving Bosnia were eliminated by their own people from Croatia and Serbia. Marko Kraljevic was one obvious example, eliminated by Croats led by Tudjman, Mate Boban etc.
@TheSouth-j7f4 ай бұрын
I would like to point out there was no Bosnian army to join up at the start of the war in 1992 in Bosnia. The Bosnian muslims in Sarajevo just had the police and some criminal groups defending Sarajevo. In the rest of the country the Bosnian Croats took matters into their own hands because they could see no one was going to help them from Serbian attack. Later when the Army of Bosnia was formed it included muslim extremists from the international ""Bosnian mujahideen"" or "El Mudžahid" brigade. Most Christians would not want to join up in this kind of army.

@@TheSouth-j7f muslim extremist rhetoric is old mate. Go sell it somewhere else. Bosniaks are over it. While 99% churces, monastaries, chapels and other places of worship of Chatolic or Christian orthodox faith were presereved and protected in Bosniak majority places. There were 614 destroyed mosques and 218 destroyed masajids by Serb and Croat hordes. According to UN 3% of war crimes were committed by the Bosniaks, 13% by Croats and 85% by Serb forces. Almost whole Serb and Croat leadership was convicted to prison for those crimes by Hague court which is run by majority Christian countries.
