Thank you for your wonderful reaction to Pitta (Kang HyungHo's solo artist name) of Forestella! It's his solo stage in Lotto Singer. The system of the show resembles Lotto ; a lottery in Korea, picking 6 numbers from 45 numbers and someone pick exact 6 numbers correctly can be the winner(s) of the game. There were 45 great singers in Korea and audience voted to singers they liked to see more stages. At the first round 3 groups of audiences pick top 6 from 15 singers, at the second round 2 groups of audiences pick top 6 from 9 singers, and at the final round they pick final top 6 from 12 singers.

BTW Pitta sang musical version of this song at his first appearance in the Phantom Singer 2 - the show that made him debut as Forestella - and it went sensational indeed! JTBC didn't release the video clip of his audition abroad and it's a big pity for me I cannot share it with all over the world.

Pitta (Kang HyungHo) was a research chemist who used to sing as an amateur rock vocalist in his leisure time. He wanted to sing from his juvenil days but his parents didn't agree him to go to art school. So his music life started since he joined the rock band in the university. Even after graduation he continued the band and won the Grand-Prix in the labourers' band contest in Busan. His sensational audition song- the Phantom of the Opera was his killer repertoire from that contest. He used to cover Muse so developed his falsetto that good. (He has very talented voice tho, his singing technique also is great.) He quit his research chemist job 1 year after the debut as Forestella. He would have worries and considering about career and steady salary, stable life but finally chose the life of professional musician. As a fan of him and of Forestella I truly appreciate for his decision from heart. He has his own KZbin channel in a name of Pitta. It was his band name but now he is using it as his nickname as a solo artist. You can watch another version of the Phantom of Opera there.
